Ok Im looking for a very specific fit here, most guilds will not be interested in what i am posting but for those that are please respond. i am a very skilled dk with 6 hard modes xp in DS. i am now working a job that precludes me from raiding at 100% attendance, i want to continue progression and work towards mop. i understand not having 100% attendance is a issue, and i have no prob filling in as a backup standby raider when i am able to raid. the guild i would like to go to would be 25 man, friendly mature and enjoy doing things outside of just raiding.

What % attendance are you looking at, exactly? We raid four nights a week, T/W/Th/Su from 7-10 CST. There's no real attendance "minimum" but we usually expect 2/3 to 3/4 from an applicant (somewhere in that general area).

He's the head honcho, I'm just one of his underlings ^^ ---- Cohors Praetoria of Vek'nilash is recruiting for 25-man progression! So far we're 6/8 in Heroic Dragon Soul, and we finished T12 at 6/7 H and T11 at 8/13 H. Cohors also has a long history of solid 25-man progression stretching back to the beginning of Burning Crusade. Raid times: T/W/Th/Su from 7 to 10 PM (CST) We tend to be a bit older and (usually) wiser than the average progression guild, so you're not going to find us yammering about mudkipz in trade chat or showboating on the server forums, etc. We also tend to be a bit more easygoing than most guilds - you will never be dressed down or yelled at, for instance. If you're a reasonable, mature adult who enjoys killing dragons without the stress and hassle of "hardcore" raiding, then we'd love to talk to you. Our loot system is open roll with a heavy emphasis on being fair to each other - passing on items that are bigger upgrades for others, passing to others who haven't won anything in a while, and so on. As a DPS class in Storm, you should be constantly looking for ways to increase your DPS even by the smallest margins. You should be comparing your DPS output to ALL players not just the ones in your own guild. If you cannot bring TOP DPS to the raid, don't bother applying. Raid Environment : This is a serious raid guild populated by adults that communicate on Ventrilo. Trash is cleared lightheartedly and efficiently, but boss fights are tightly executed with only the necessary info communicated through Ventrilo. Storm uses a loot council that awards gear based on merit, playskill, attendance and/or overall guild needs should such circumstances arise. That definitely makes for an unusual situation, but if our guild sounds promising I would definitely register on our forums and send Ahti a PM explaining your situation in detail and seeing what he thinks.
I will say that while we have nobody who is on call 24/7 every day, we do have people who are late/absent because of work, and we don't really fuss about it. All we ask is that you post beforehand if possible, and 2 hours is plenty of leeway. But I think talking with the GM and letting him know all the details would be a good idea before you spend the time and effort filling out our application. In any case, good luck with your search for a guild. |

We're always looking for backup raiders. RL tends to hit at least one of our raiders on a weekly basis lately and there is generally a spot a friend or non-raider guild rank fills in for us. If you wouldn't mind being a bench player we wouldn't mind having you.
<Borderline Amazing> is currently recruiting for heroic modes for 25 man DS raiding! We have been around throughout Wrath and performed well during T11 and T12. During T11 we cleared 9/13H in 25M. In Firelands we were 6/7H. We are currently 6/8H in 25 man Dragon Soul and plan on pushing hard come MoP! We classify our guild as a casual hardcore guild. We define this as a guild who raids in a friendly, enjoyable environment for a limited time a week, while also progressing in hard mode content. We make the most of our 3 day raiding schedule. We are looking for friendly, loyal players who possess the skill to tackle hard modes. Attendance is key for us. For 3 days a week, 4 hours a night, we expect you to be online and prepared to raid! We're currently looking for a DPS DK for our 25 man raid roster (we don't have a strict attendance requirement). We have a Tuesday/Wednesday/Thursday raid schedule, between 7:30-10:30 p.m. PST. We are a level 25 guild who has currently gotten down 4/8 Heroic DS. Our guild has been around for six years, so we have a long history of mature raiding. Our guild, Knights of Tranquility, is a tight knit group of laid back, fun, sociable older people (30+ years old) who like to progress and see new content, but we strongly believe in the social aspects of raiding, and WoW-life balance. We have a good sense of humor and are respectful of other people's values and beliefs. Recruiting for Mists and farming out DS! We were formed in October of 2010 and have steadily been a top 200ish since our inception starting with a US 208th Light of Dawn. We run a light roster (28-30) so being able to maintain 90% attendance rate is paramount to both the guild's and your own success as part of the team. We have very limited spots available as the core of the roster has been growing and has been very steady since the tail end of last tier. We are really looking to make a strong push to crack the top 100 US Madness kills. We are a social guild and most people really do like each other, outside of raid times you can find League of Legends games, Dota2, SC2, BF3, as well as alt stuff, old raids, and pvp stuff so there is something for all. We are looking to finish Cataclysm strong and working on heroic content in Dragon Soul. For Mists of Pandaria we plan on being one of the best Alliance end game raiding teams on this server.
