New beta patch is out. Getting random crashes again though not as bad as it was a couple of weeks ago.
A level 85 character creation template has been added so no more pre-made copying though some players are having problems using it.
Using one of the portals from Pandaria to SW/Org now places you at a new panda spot near the Earthshrines.
Pet Battle interface has been added and you can train for it (outside the Blacksmith shop in Goldshire for Alliance, somewhere in Razor Hill for Horde) but it doesn't look like you can actually battle or tame new pets yet.
Disenchanting the new items now gives the MoP mats instead of Cata mats. The enchanting book is very buggy but it looks like they might be adding a filter for enchants by expansion in the future in addition to the current filters by slot and type. I can make some of the new enchants - trying to find and select one I want to make is difficult.
No new tailoring patterns yet.
Finally got The Jade Witch completed but it took some patience before she appeared. Think the phasing is still a little bugged.

Not sure why your post was reported, Joy. It's valid and valuable information.
Pet battles are now disabled again. Blizz says they didn't mean to add it to this patch because the pet battle system isn't ready for testing yet. Which was clear by all the bugs that were there.
The Dungeon Journal now lists EVERY dungeon and raid from Classic up to Mists. It also has a slightly new look, as does the bank and a few other things.
They've also added in a Core Abilities tab to the spellbook. It's intended to be helpful to players by letting them know what abilities are core to their spec and should be used on a regular basis. The funny thing is that everyone seems to have a warrior's core abilities for now. The General tab is now back and listing racials and general class passive abilities once again (armor and weapons skills for instance) instead of lumping those things into the spec tabs.
SV hunters have now been reverted back to their 4.3 build with respect to the use of Black Arrow and Explosive/Immolation Trap to trigger Lock N Load. The new concept for Black Arrow was fun, at least to me, but it wasn't working out well in practice. Serpent Spread and Concussive Shot have been restored as well.
Priests now get Void Shift as a class ability instead of as a Talent choice. The 6 minute CD would only make it useful once a fight (twice for really long ones) but it certainly can be a tank saver.
Alchemy recipes are now available though I haven't seen any sign of the herbs yet. Blacksmithing plans are at the trainer, along with the new smelts at the mining trainer. JC, engineering, inscription and leatherworking still have nothing new yet.
You can now quest in Krasarang Wilds. I had found the Nesingwary Camp in Valley of the Four Winds by looking at the map. Turns out the breadcrumb crust to lead you there is picked up in Krasarang. Level cap is still 87 for now though. Green drops in Krasarang are 399, haven't hit a quest that rewards a blue item yet but would imagine the item level is going to be 419, like the ones in Valley of the Four Winds.
As for this being reported, *shrug*. Perhaps someone thinks that beta should only be discussed in the beta forums but there's no NDA so people are free to post information, screenshots and videos where they want. Trying to find information of interest in the beta forums can be a pain; this can be helpful resource for our BWR friends heading to beta and wanting to know what's out there to test.
And don't forget - if you don't have the Annual Pass, you can still submit your profile via Account Management to get a chance at access to beta to test all these things for yourself. Just remember this is a beta and not a demo. There are a ton of bugs in the beta and frequent game crashes, and the reason we have access is to find and report them. I'm actually finding lots of bugs in existing content as I try to level up a character from scratch and Blizzard needs to know about those as well. If you want to see a more finished product, better to wait for the expansion to be released. ;-)

Im having the worst time doing anything in the beta, I'm not one of those people who is aggressive so getting my quests done is requiring alot of camping on my part.
Plus I'm getting ready for finals, so doing things is almost impossible as is. Thanks for the heads up joy :D
Crashes are plentiful right now but at least I figured out the enchanting book only glitches when you have the new Pandaria mats in your bags!
I mostly seem to be crashing in Stormwind, been pretty stable while questing in Krasarang Wilds though I had a couple of crashes there. There are 2 shipwrecks off the coast near the village of the Anglers that have an endless supply of shipwreck debris pools (as soon as you fish out one pool, another one spawns nearby). Nice way to level fishing while getting some raw goods to sell on the AH even if the sealed crates contain Cata items. I'm not sure if the instant spawn is a glitch or if it's intended as part of one of the Anglers' dailies and the Sealed Crates are just temporary drops.
While the Jade Witch is fixed, there's a new bugged quest in Krasarang Wilds at the Temple of the Red Crane that also appears to be phasing related. I met up with another player who managed to get it completed just about the same time I was working on it but trying to retrace what he did to get it complete didn't work for me. He went on do the next quest, which sent him to Stoneplow, and the chain appeared to end there though we think that there might be more quests pending the opening of the neighboring zone since the chain seemed very incomplete. Can't leave the White Pawn hanging out in the middle of nowhere!
I started crashing... a lot... in valley of the four winds, near all the turtles that you have to kill for that one quest "collect 80 scraps of turtle meat" or whatever. The Big beats you have to kill there were the ones crashing me, I'd kill one loot it, crash. Kill the next, TRY to loot it, crash. Come back online, mouse over it, crash. Guess I'll go do something else for a bit.
Eh not much of a Pvper :D on Lost Isles. and Mekkatorque (Sp?) For horde side. I am really not to pleased with what they've done with Spriests... heres to getting used to another change again *finger twirl*
But im sure like Cata I will adapt lol.
Pet Battles are only working for those who trained before they changed the trainers. Sapperwix posted in the beta forum today saying that when they're ready for pet battle testing to start, they're going to do a huge write up to get everyone keyed up and ready to totally stress the system out.
In the meantime, today's patch is supposed to fix the majority of the crash issues we've had since last patch. I'm hoping it will finally let me get credit for escorting the Grummles along the Burlap Train now that I'd done it about a dozen times and had the rare world boss spawn on top of me twice to give me an instant butt kicking.
I'm really disappointed at how quickly I'm leveling up via quests. I figure if I subtract the time lost do to crashes, trying to level professions, having to repeat bugged quests, etc. it's only taken about 8 hours of game time to go 85-88. I've only been in one of the dungeons one time, though will probably start doing those soon, but I've heard a lot of complaints from people saying they aren't getting exp in the dungeons even though they aren't level capped. I'm wondering if this is one of the way Blizzard is going to force players out into the world like they want.
Thats the big problem Im having I can't seen to test any material because when I log in, i'm there for maybe 10 minutes, in the middle of a quest I get an error and boom kicked out. I'll try this weekend and *keep my fingers crossed*
Hope they manage to make things at least a little more steadier.
That makes sense Joynal, about the pet battles. I am really hoping they get that working soon.
Also, not crashing would be amazing. I stopped questing because I just kept crashing. The second I just started exploring, I didn't have any crashes. lol Crazy how things work.
Townlong Steppes is open for exploration and questing (that's all zones open except Dread Wastes and Valley of Eternal Blossoms). Level cap is 89. Four of the new dungeons available on reg mode now: Temple of the Jade Serpent, Stormstout Brewery, Shado Pan Monastery and Mogu'shan Palace (which might be getting renamed).
New build has the Tailoring patterns added! Only problem is when I go to start making bolts of Windwool, I get an error message saying I don't have the necessary item equipped. >.> I have enough cloth to make over 400 bolts saved up from questing so its driving me nuts!
LW is also in and fully functional, I have a couple of beta guildies already maxed out. BS and Alchemy have been in but lacking mats to farm (don't know if that's changed). Still no JC and Engineering. Forgot to check Inscription.
Classes are still getting tweaked every which way. I'm hating the new change to Spirit Shell - it could be useful for preshielding on a pull where there's immediate incoming dmg but the heal to absorb conversion either doesn't stack or has a low cap which could limit its use in combat. I liked the old version better - I could stack it to a high degree and if incoming dmg was fairly predicatable, let the absorb convert to healing for any HP deficit. And they've screwed up Penance so it doesn't direct heal right now, it only heals via Atonement. That appears to be a bug though and not intended.
There are still some crashes but far less than last week. Mount interface is still bugged but a simple log out then back in usually fixes it. I'm getting dirty looks from people as my level 20 Pandaren monks rides my Amani Battle bear.
Pet battles are getting a workout from players who got trained before Blizz decided they weren't ready yet and changed the level needed to train to 90. I'm thinking about getting around to testing it a bit myself.
