I think the statement would've made sense if it was "World of Warcraft in general is slowly dying." -- I can only back that up with the loss of subscribers each quarter over the last year that has been reported by Blizzard.
Mal'Ganis alone is one of the highest populated servers in the game. Even if it lost half of the people on the server it'd still be a pretty big server none the less. I've came from a dying/dead server, and let me tell you it's not fun. |

Honestly im thinking about a transfer. (Yes im changing to horde as well) I am considering Mal'Ganis, Illidan and BLackrock but I have pretty much ruled out Blackrock since that server is awful now. And yes I did check wowprogress and Mal has 35k players and Illidan has a little more than 50k but that doesn't really tell you if a server is "dying". I was just hoping if you guys could give me an honest opinion if I should go to Illidan or if I should come Mal'Ganis.

You could just make an alt run to org and see for yourself.
