You didn't get "stunlocked to death".

Nobody has been "stunlocked to death" since season 4. And even then it was mostly just warlocks.

1) no one is stunlocked to death anymore unless you mess up.

2) stuns are obviously fun else warriors would be on every arena team and there would be no locks, moonkin, or DKs in arena. Stuns aren't the end all.
