Need 2200 in 5s - What Druid spec?

I am having trouble hitting 2200 on my Druid, more specifically, can't find any teams that need a feral.
Is feral a good add to a 5s or am I just missing something? I hit Rival with 2170 but I just can't get a team that wants a feral at higher levels. Seems they don't want druids at all, even when I offer to respec and grind new year. I wanted the achievement, because that and last man standing is all I need for Arena Master. Should I roll Balance, Resto or stay Feral and finish out Cata like that? Just need some advice from the PvP gods here. |

You won't make 2200 as a Restodruid that's for sure.

id finish your feral set and enchant it and try for a team. you certainly have the experience on the druid. you sure they arent saying no because of the 5 blues and unenchanted items?

All I need for Arena Master is 2200 in 5's too. But I can't find 4 people to arena with on this server. :D

I'd actually say no to this, tbh. Right now, the only melees people are really wanting in a 5's team are rogues or DK's, unless they are running solo healer and then they'll take a ret paladin. you will find much more success doing a moonkin dot cleave. |

OP here. I have lots of toons at 85, and lots of Ruthless / Cata gear across them. I honestly have not played Balance since the original Boomkin days in TBC and this is my 2nd druid at 85. The feral set I have now it just for getting points in BG and running flags, capping nodes etc. I use the points to buy other things because like I said, what is the use in gearing out full Feral if I can't provide use in 5s as a feral. Using my points to now get a Ruthless set in Balance just to see if I am worth a crap. *I wanted to note I said 2170 earlier, but that was the team rating, I have never broken 1900 PR in 5s on this toon and never hit 2200 in 5s PR on any toon. Just hit a wall around 2k. Thanks again for the input everyone, it is much appreciated. |
wrong, you can hit 2.2 as A Resto Druid in 5s. It is much easier than 3s. depends on how good the playstyle and comp of your team is. |
That player said they got that rank before everyone was geared up. As in, they're not doing Arena right now and haven't done so in a while. So no, won't happen. |
