Satchel issue

Not sure if this is a bug or not but, twice in a row now, the tank call to arms will come up. I join the queue, being sure the satchel reward is being offered. Then, when the dungeon pops the satchel no longer listed as a reward. Both times I declined and dropped queue. Felt bad for the other players but I'm really only signing up for satchel runs at this point. I don't need any drops and since I rarely raid I'm not in a huge rush to max my valor each week. I do like pets and mounts though.
So, is this a bug? Was the satchel actually still being offered as a reward but just not showing up on my dungeon pop accept pop-up thing? Is there a max number of times you can get the satchel in one day? I had got it twice before. Anyway, just wanted to report this in case it is a bug. |

I'm not sure if it's deliberate or not, but the CtA feature seems to be updating itself in realtime rather than when you joined the queue. That is to say if, by the time you finally get a group assembled, the CtA is no longer active on your chosen role(s) than you won't be offered the satchel in the rewards. It has been reported before under claims of "bait and switch", but the simple reality appears to be a design flaw in the system - one which can actually work both ways (ie You can sign up without CtA active, then be offered the satchel if it becomes active while you're queued).
To my knowledge, there's no limit to the number of satchels you're allowed to receive per day (I've received in excess of 5). All you can really do is keep an eye on the rewards and act as you feel appropriate. FWIW, you're not the only one who immediately drops queue if the satchel is no longer present - I've seen it happen many times, and I'm less-than-proud to admit that I have also done likewise. |

It seems to have changed, as it used to be if it was there when you qued, you kept it. Now it seems to vanish EXACTLY as the que pops.
I think there is someting odd going on, as when I go to check the que after refusing to do a run for no satchel the CtA for tank is still up. It just seems too much a conisedence that it KEEPS vanishing right as the que pops. (And this is over 10 times it's happend to me, always the same time) |
It seems to have changed, as it used to be if it was there when you qued, you kept it. Now it seems to vanish EXACTLY as the que pops. I think what you are seeing is the popup display updating. The same thing happens if you queue in a group -- the bag will be shown for a split second before disappearing, even though as part of a group, you were never eligible for the bag to begin with. That is not to say that it hasn't changed since before 4.3, but I'm pretty sure the "EXACTLY" is incorrect. |

Yes, but as I said, if I refuse the que, and go to que again, quite often CtA for tank is still up.
