Costume Suggestion: Jaina + Father's Old Coat

...How does complaining about feminist issues turn into a Forsaken debate? They have nothing in common aside from that Sylvanas is a female.

I don't want to point fingers and name names... so I'm just going to link to this entirely innocuous quest page on WoWpedia:

I suspect Vyrin would wear such a skimpy shirt if he were a woman.

Brukk I love you man but you're just going to get him angry.
Fair enough. I shouldn't have said anything in the first place.

Still... that's why this turned into a Forsaken debate.

Oh of course. And I'm not blaming you for Vyrin it's just....yeah. As for the feminist issue...well..... probably unnecessary in the debate but... stuff happens.

Anyways this thread is now about Pie.

And I still want Jaina to get an eyepatch. The old coat might be doable with a combination of shoulders and cape.

Believe me, there's no such thing as him being not angry.

I'm not liking the idea of an eyepatch to be honest.

As for Jaina Proudmoore's appearance in general, I think a more serious, militaristic look might be in order. If she does end up leading part, or all, of the Alliance fleet heading for Pandaria, then I could see a more admiral-like appearance. No need for her to literally wear her father's old coat, however.

After all just because she's backing the war now doesn't mean she agrees with what her father did in WC3:TFT. She could even see the continued war as ultimately her father's fault since he broke the peace the Horde/Alliance had established in the aftermath of Hyjal. Before she worked to undo the damage through working for peace directly, now she has realized the only road to peace runs through Garrosh Hellscream's corpse.

That certainly would be more interesting.

I still don't understand how an NPC from Loch Modan has anything in common with the Forsaken though...

Unless, as is likely, Garrosh ceases to be "Horde" and becomes "just another bad guy". And the Argent Crusade were backed by Horde loyalists.

Then it would be perfectly fine.

Though I seriously doubt they will involve themselves in any way, shape, or form.

Yeah, the Argent Crusade currently seems pretty focused on building a new Lordaeron in the Western/Eastern Plaguelands. Only way I could see them in conflict with any part of the Horde is when the whole thing with Sylvanas blows up, although it looks like Blizzard is saving that particular storyline for a rainy day and might not want to kill off too many Horde racial leaders within the scope of MoP.

Sylvanas doesn't strike me as a potential Garrosh loyalist anyways. She'll side with the uprising and buy herself a few more years. Her powerful sense of self-preservation will compel her to pick the winning side if nothing else.
Nvm I found it. Congratulations Falrinn. You unleashed chaos upon the world with the first mention of Sylvanas.

if you mean you're referring to Vyrin then I'd have to say no. As my above post says it was Falrinn who introduced Sylvanas into this discussion. Shouldn't be that Vyrin would take advantage of it. It's like a law of nature, no more surprising that not all liquids poured on a fire extinguishes it, oil for example.

She doesn't. The link was, as I said, entirely innocuous.

Ok, no eyepatch. One possible military look for Jaina, it's already in Alliance color, more or less:

The trims should be available in all armor types, including plate, if players want to get a similar style.

Only less torn up, with longer coat tails, and cut to a feminine figure.

That's my vote.

that is pretty nice imo. It would definitely show off her position as leader of the Kul Tiras, assuming of course her character has changed overall, if not then her current clothes are sufficient enough.

Well, in the brief little synopsis of the novel we get it does imply a severe change of character.

Though that may just be an empty ploy to build interest and attention.
