Goodbye Fenris. Goodbye WoW. Hello Diablo 3.

20 Troll Hunter
After 5 years of WoW, most of it on Fenris, it's time for me to move on. I loved this realm despite, and sometimes because of, its flaws. Even when I moved my main to raid elsewhere, this was still home.

I've met so many great people here over the years and am proud to call many of them friends. Not "online friends", but simply "friends", as we've grown to care about one another as more than guildies or raid teammates or business partners.

Though this chapter is coming to a close, I won't be forgetting the good times from WoW that many of you have been a part of. For fk's sake, I have a horde emblem tattoo and spent my honeymoon at Blizzcon. WoW's a part of me. And I am proud to have called Fenris my home.

Also for the curious, my gold and items have already been transferred to other players, and I am not disclosing who those players are. I have zero copper on my bank alts and even vendored my bags, so please don't ask.

For anyone interested, my battletag is Wolfie#1609. We can keep in touch with the cross-game chat. And anyone else leaving WoW for Diablo feel free to add your battle tags or other contact info you wish to share to this thread.

It will be kind of weird not seeing you around in wow but man, Diablo 3 sure is fun. One of the best barrel breaking simulators I know

So how is diablo 3 treating you now?

How do you like being pushed into the RMAH to pay to win?

Its far from being pushed into the RMAH to win, almost no one buys anything out of it anymore and stuff is insanely easy to come by now that you can just farm act 1.

Wolfie wanted me to pass this along since she cant post on here since her wow account is not active.
"Diablo's been good to me so far. It's nice making a few hundred bucks for playing a game. I've been taking a break from playing it lately but still playing the auction house of course."

Nothing to do after beating inferno.

Sure there is, farm gear and sell it on the ah then sell the gold on the RMAH. Thats just my oppinon though.

Only problem is, you can't cash the money from the RMAH into money to use outside of the blizzard store, and even than, it's very limited to just game upgrades, can't even buy pets or mounts in game for wow.
Money you put into the RMAH or earn via the RMAH, stays within blizzards system, you will never see a dime of it.
If you're really into it though, at the rate of a full time job, 40 hours a week, you can probably earn 50-100 RMAH dollars a month.
100+ hours to buy a wow expansion, fun fun.

You're incorrect, you can cash out all your auctions to Paypal.
Also you don't even have to play the game, you just flip stuff
on the normal AH and sell gold on the RMAH, 20+ bucks a week
in paypal for a hour or two a week.
