This gets you valor points, which can be used to purchase gear far superior to any of the drops in any of the dungeons. |

Whenever I needed gear from the HoT's I would look in the dungeon journal since I could never remember what dropped what.

You don't even need Atlas loot for this, just open up the dungeon journal and check. But really they all drop hunter loot of some kind, it just depends on what slot you need filled. |

Though you should not rely on the class gear filter in the dungeon journal, which says, among other silly things, that the tanking ring from the Azshara fight is hunter gear. |
