Can shadow priests get a damage portion in addition to existing effects when Vampiric Touch is dispelled. I have seen lately healers repeatedly dispell it because it only has a small horror effect. The ability to put the DoT up is in line with how much it costs to dispell so what do we gain?

Today when I dispelled Unstable Affliction as a test it took away 15-20% of my HP and I think that taking away something similar or extending the horror effect needs to be put in place.

We used to have that in wrath. Then in Cata they took it away and tried a few different 'dispel protection' methods for it, all of which failed miserably until we came to the AoE horror effect. I'd love to have the big chunk of life taken away again but, seems like blizz don't want us to have it :(
