Why does Blizzard login route through Disney?

So I noticed something today. The log in server for World of Warcraft logs into a datacenter at 12.129.206.133. This is flagged as Disney Worldwide Services Inc. Does anyone know what Disney has to do with Blizzard? I mean we've all been making Kung-fu Panda jokes over the new expansion, but seriously is there something to it? Does Disney have some kind of secret stake in Blizzard? What's going on here?

The internet is a series of routers and switches... data can go through any of them on the way to their destination. Just because a router or switch is owned by <insert company here> doesn't mean anything. It's just a part of the route... just like you might drive past a local government building on your way to the beach....

Disney... hmm... No, that would be the expansion after that when the company is bought out by Warner Bros and we get the long awaited Emerald (city) Dream expansion. You know, the one with the munchkins. |
