Every week this summer, we’re challenging you to get together with a few friends to explore a part of Azeroth that you may not have seen in a while, or perform a feat that you may have never done. We’re calling them World of Warcraft Summer Challenges, and we’re going to be playing along with you as we hunt down rare achievements, get screenshots of amazing bosses, and try to find some rare gear for our transmogrification sets.

I still need to do the pvp haala mounts. But that's one aweful grind. i'd rathor grind a raid for 2 years then that pvp crap for a year trying to pvp is an empty zone :\

I have 155 mounts but not the Dark Talbuks because it's extremely hard to coordinate getting the other faction involved in helping. T_T
I hope they consider changing how they are obtained. /sadface |

Hmm, done with two of then and like Omegal, I need the pvp Talbuk. I guess I'll apply myself some this week for that nice Netherwing Drake.

Wow, what great timing on this Challenge!
Just last week I finished grinding my  Halaa Battle Tokens to pick up my  Reins of the Dark War Talbuk! I've wanted one ever since BC, but I was on a pretty dead server and didn't PvP much back then, so I always assumed that the Dark Talbuks would be out of my reach. Thanks to an event a horde on my server organized-- thanks a lot, Heal@Kil'Jaeden!-- I was able to finish gathering the remaining tokens I needed in time for the expansion, which was very important to me. And I finally have one of my own! I never really thought I'd get there, to be honest.See, in addition to having always loved Talbuks (Kurenai was my very first rep grind waaay back when I was a nooby hunter in BC!) and having always wanted the Dark talbuks, I've been searching far and wide for a mount that is both Deathknight-ish and doesn't look out of place on Pandaria--- things made of rotting flesh and bones just don't work on such a beautiful continent, and neither, I feel, do the bulkier mounts. I thought, maybe the  Swift White Hawkstrider from Magister's Terrace would do... but it didn't feel like it fit Jokaras' motif or Ebon Blade transmog at all.The Talbuks perfectly fit my needs, since there are (or were, don't know if it's changing during the revamp) talbuks in the Jade Forest, and they came in very nice dark colors that match my DK transmog! I really think that the more delicate and deerlike nature of the Talbuks really fits the aesthetic of Pandaria, and I can't wait to bring my new Dark War Talbuk over to the misty shores! |

i got my netherwing drakes a couple months ago - i had never done the questline before, and it was actually fun, although a bit grindy. at least there was humor, and some of them were STILL challenging (i'm looking at you, racing achievements). i had forgotten about the Skyguard mounts, hmmmm... and what is this about talbuks?? /WANT

All ready got most of it, Don't ask me try to get halaa one.. I all ready got my battle scars form there and don't tell me to get the mount...

I got everything on that list except the Halaa pvp ones :<, but 108 mounts ain't too bad right?
Edit: Even got the Ravenlord and the Hawkstrider, only missing the mount from Kara |

My mage is exalted with the Kurenai, and I have been working on it as well as the Consortium through beads on this paladin. I have also started working on Skyguard and Netherwing rep, but I have currently been working on Argent Tournament dailies so that I can get the charger.

boy, i hit the netherdrake train so hard when it first launched - all i did when i logged on, aside from netherwing dailies, was farm for eggs.
soooooooo many eggs.. but boy it was worth it! netherdrakes are still one of my favorite drake models :> when bc launched, i was a hordie. this was back when tauren couldn't use most faction mounts, in fact i think it was just wolves and kodos (raptors when bc came). i LOOOOVED the undead horse mounts though, or anything with cloppyhooves really, so when i saw the talbuks i knew i absolutely had to get them. i halted my leveling at 66 and grinded ogres for like, 2 or 3 days straight to get my talbuks. >:3 not too long ago i decided i would farm up the dusts for my dark war talbuk - i had like, 100 halaa pvp tokens sitting in my bank, so i figured i may as well! boyyy it was worth it too, the dark war talbuk is probably one of the sleekest mounts in the game. |
