[H] 25m 2/6HM Emergence US #64 LFM
How's high school glee club going kid? Did your group make nationals? |

Another guild that thinks Undermine can support a competitive 25m. Emergence will get fed up from mediocre progression and transfer within 6 months.....just like all the other guilds with high hopes.
|
|
Nope, we are actually quite stable and enjoying the ride. We are not planning on transferring and since a majority of our recruits are from off-server, we don't need to rely on Undermine to provide mediocre talent.
|
I sure hope you're enjoying the ride, but as a 25 man guild you only started killing H madness within the last few months of Cata and at that your members were already geared. Starting off from scratch in MoP and aiming for a goal such as yours ( top 100 ). I gotta say.. you guys make it sound like its so incredibly easy. You're not the only guild out there wanting to achieve this goal. What makes Emergence so much different than all of the current top 100 guilds? It must be in the water! :o |

Or maybe they're getting unholy assistance? SCOURGE assistance mayhaps? |

Yes, we only started killing H Madness a few months ago, which is why we have not and will not make comparisons between our guild and any other guild that downed madness before us. However, when we formed Emergence as a 25 man guild, we were not geared. In fact, 18 of our original 25 all had gear below 390 ilvl. The founders and a lot of our original recruits just came back to the game. This is why we didn't start ranking players until the last several weeks of DS (before the rankings freeze). We had to get our gear caught up to all the other guilds that were already parsing players. We ended the tier with having 5 different dps parse and 2 healers. Having only 7 players hit the top 200 in their respected class is below our standards and we look forward to parsing a lot more members in MoP when we can start at the same time as other progression guilds. Our goal upon forming the guild was to get back into the top 100 as many of the leaders are from previous top 100 US guilds. As a result we know how those guilds were run, organized, and executed. We bring this philosophy to Emergence and push our raiders VERY hard to be the best. We have actually pushed multiple players too hard and as a result they left the guild. But it allowed us to find out who can handle hardcore raiding / hardcore expectations and who couldn't. We understand that we have not yet earned any recognition other than being the only surviving 25m guild on the server. Actions speak louder than words, we are being patient... 17 days till MoP release and 24 days till raids are available. |

You guys had a 25 or 30% nerf when you killed madness; gear wasn't an issue because the fight became so under-tuned.
Inexperience isn't really an excuse because it takes about 1 attempt to figure out what you are supposed to do. The only excuse I could really understand is coming back after a long break, but it's really easy to get back in the swing of things after about a week. I have more than 7 parses alone as one spec, and not some bad 100+ rank, I'm talking top 10. Granted I'm better than a top 100 player, it would make sense that a top 100 player could at least get a ranking higher than 100, and more than on just one fight. Your roster doesn't look like a top 100 roster. You don't need to push people, you just need to recruit good people, like Gellea. He may have not been the best from Get Carried, but that's the caliber of player you want for a top 100 guild. I'm still waiting to see what the self-proclaimed best rogue in the world can do (that's Zkrillex for those that don't know). You guys seem to run your mouths a lot without being able to back up what you say. |
i was the best Thanks. |
I'm still waiting to see what the self-proclaimed best WoW player in the world can do (that's Zkrillex for those that don't know). Fixed. Back to Sunday Night Football. Which btw, I am also the best football player and fantasy football player in the world too. Thanks. |

What does parsing have to do at all with progression? Do you compare yourself to Lysdexia and his parses in heroic ds with them getting realm first 8/8? In order for him to parse like that it wasnt until AFTER heroic DS was down. Parsing is just something fun to go for outside of progressing. IMO. But good luck in Mists, I look forward to the competition. *Sorry for the messed up quote, browser wouldnt correctly put up the quote box so f it. |

Ranking is a pretty good indicator of a player's skill and capabilities. Granted many talented players are not given opportunities to rank, it's still a better indicator of player skill than number of boss kills or date of boss kill.

I agree with this, but like he said many people arent given the opportunities to rank. Take heroic madness. I'm assuming that part of Lys number 1 ranks (in both frost and unholy) were because he was the only one to kill the regenerative bloods. Also assuming you killed green>yellow>red>blue. My point was just that this wouldnt be the case during a progression fight. Same with Zon'ozz, you can stretch that fight out til the zerk timer and have one guy dps him until the end. Granted Lysdexia and Mirdean were still able to rank on heroic fights during progression. Mirdean got skillz. |

You expect people to server transfer to a guild that is ranked 7133? Stop kidding yourself. You will be forced to recruit through undermine. |
|
|
If Legends couldn't get people to transfer here, Emergence sure won't.
