What happend to smoke and mirrors?

Probably died just like ever other guild.

Someone petitioned a GM because the Guild Master was inactive for 30 days.
Above mentioned person then was given ownership of the guild, changed the name, and kicked everyone. Pretty much about it. And Hai Osse. And also Slomotion is my baby daddy. <3 |

Blizz is happy to help someone like that, who wasn't even an officer, take leadership and destroy a guild and make us have to start again. |

It's a pity naming individuals on these forums is a violation of the ULA, otherwise I'd be posting his priest, death knight, and druid's name right here.
I've yet to have a complaint about the customer service Blizzard provides but in this they... well I guess that insult would also be against the ULA. Goddammit. Why are these psychotic rules in place when other players need to be warned of the debilitating actions of others? It's almost like a level 1 relying on divine aegis to protect you from mobs while farming briarthorn. -.- |

He took leadership (despite not even being an officer), kicked everyone (well he did 2 rounds of kicks, first time he kicked anyone who had been inactive for a couple of weeks, then he kicked everyone), renamed the guild and gave it to an alt. People have talked to him about it, he made a vague promise about giving it back in MoP if we still want it. Seeing how he already broke the promise about how anyone who wanted back in could get an invite back when he did his second round of kicks, I'd guess he's not exactly sincere about it.

And Fattykins is right, Vonwarr talked to a GM who said that the guild is his property now so he can do whatever he likes with it. Shame they didn't feel like that before giving leadership to him.
