Overall, I feel like the Horde tanking racials are very weak compared to the Alliance. I would love to have an extra 10% damage reduction or even a 2% gain to my CtC. Pandas will likely be the BiS choice for Horde Prot Warriors and Brewmasters because of the food buff racial.

I would really like to go undead (my favorite race), but, as others have pointed out, a 15k heal isn't really that much when you're running with a 400k healthpool. Also, Taurens give you 1% more health at 85. Whoop de freakin' do.

Edit: The undead healing/damage bonus would be good for AoE tanking because the more mobs one hits, the more likely the heal will proc. In those situations, I think the racial is actually very good. However, if you're tanking just one boss, I don't see the racial being all that powerful as a Stoneform cooldown. I wish Horde had dwarves :(

depends on your class. that is of course, assuming you don't care that much about the animations and how gear looks on a given race. because what you'll be staring at for 90 levels outweighs ANY of these benefits and should be the PRIMARY deciding factor when choosing a race.

i think that the best DK tank race is goblin simply because the goblin jump adds something that DKs lack - mobility. blood elves are a good second since they can generate RP on demand, and the silence will be nice with interrupts going to 15 seconds.

blood elf and tauren are both good pally choices, AoE silence or an additional stun are welcome tools to the paladin toolkit.

goblin, in my opinion, is the worst choice for a warrior. they may add an additional movement ability, but it's largely unnecessary. unlike, say, orcs who add axe expertise which potentially saves you itemization points in MoP.

trolls berserking isn't all that useful for druid tanks - it adds attack speed, but that's not going to translate into that much more rage in Mists, but the AoE stun from tauren will add another dynamic to druid tanking.
