Known hacker, and <Bloodlust> GM Vengefulx

The only thing that he could have possible done is:
Use vent to obtain an IP address. Obtain the persons email address. Search the IP and DOX it for it's zip/address. Recover the email. Use the email to recover the battle.net account. Overall, battle.net won't do anything about it. It's his fault for not having an authenticator/100% security. |

I think I'd much rather listen to someone's warning than have to pay Blizzard some money to have 100% security.

I'm now thinking that the same person who keeps reiterating the facts that Veganflullx is a hacker, is probably just Tappen logging on to his other toons to post here.
The fact is that a person's World of Warcraft account can't get hacked just because someone knows your IP address. Yes, there are ways to infiltrate a person's computer, cause DoS, etc. However, many of us are smart enough to know that it isn't possible for Veganfullx to gain access to these accounts, unless the person who he befriended shared vital personal info with him... thus compromising their own security. Now that scenario is more to my liking, and believable. With that being said, then what Veganfullx is doing isn't considered "hacking" at all. If he gained access to accounts through befriending people, then that isn't the same - someone called it social engineering? I suppose that term might be mroe acceptable, but to reiterate fully: You can't get hacked from Skype or by sharing your Real ID information. So please stop trying to insult our intelligence, and take your crusade / personal agenda against Veganfullx elsewhere. Your vendetta against this person doesn't convince me whatsoever to any misconduct. Also Tappen, where are these so-called screenshots you said you'd provide of your conversation? I've yet to see you man-up here and post that. Your move dimwit. |

Excuse me for a second, I believe there has been a misunderstanding in terms of how people are getting their accounts "hacked".
The fact is that a person's World of Warcraft account can't get hacked just because someone knows your IP address. This is true i do not deny this. But what is happening is that Vengefullx is committing what is know as identity theft. He gathers personal information by gaining trust with the victim. Then upon gaining this information he contacts blizzard and proceeds to change the account name. Keep in mind, he needs your security question and answer which i know he gained from the previous "hacked" players.
I please implore you to stop attacking someone who is looking out for the realm and i think your arrogance is appalling in these circumstances. From the looks of it, someone posting on an alt from Tanaris looks like some who hacks accounts as well. You are probably buddies with vengefullx. Rofl cy@ |

I present this post pertaining to merely clarification.
@Draeneic I'm sure if you have a good understanding of hacking you'd know what the term "Social Engineering" means. If not please look it up or read my previous post. That is basically my theory because of the knowledge I've gathered up. The hacker is certainly hijacking the person's account by obtaining their personal information and performing an act of "Identity Theft" which of course is illegal regardless of the country you live in. @Brimstone You're obviously ignorant. Read the other posts before you start ranting. We made this post for Arathor's awareness not to waste time and troll people. |

Point is, people: don't talk to, or even associate with, Vengefulx. Blacklist anyone in Bloodlust and support this topic. Help raise awareness that this guy needs to be stopped and banned from WoW, and possibly even more than that.
Also, for all of those trying to argue that this guy is 'innocent' when the information we know points in all directions to him being the root of this hacking, please stop. You're making yourself look like you're a sympathizer to someone who would more or less hack you than be friends with you. |

I got on Skype with this guy last night and now I'm hacked. He's legit.

He was also naked while we were Skyping.

Junash has proven that he is, indeed, a far superior intellectual than the rest of us lowly peasants. The methods of his overused notions of !@#$%^-*!@ity being an insult are unparalleled. We dare not tread into this dangerous territory of such high magnitude arguments, we shall kneel obediently and respect his apparent level of supreme clarity and shall not retort, for it would be the end of us all.
Amen. |
