REJOICE IN THE STREETS OF IRONFORGE!!!!
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Ironforge, Dun Morogh: It was only a matter of minutes before the
people of the Alliance amassed in the city streets to celebrate the defeat
of what was considered unattainable:

Ragnaros, the Firelord of Molten Core had been slain.

King Magni Bronzebeard himself marked the day as a “momentous
occasion
” and spoke highly of <Sovereign>’s success as a
shining beacon of hope and praise for many things to come” for the
stalwart citizens of the Alliance.

But it wasn’t so much of how the accomplishment itself that brought
people to tears in celebration, but more of how it was done.

“We were just on our way out of UBRS with our fire-resist buffs and
there they ( West Dragon ) were, thinned out like lost sheep ready for
the slaughter” said Rainz, one of the 40 heroes of <Sovereign> “They
didn’t know what was coming, and the best part about it was we were
not afraid at all. We didn’t lose a single person to them, and they just
fell over like dominoes lol.”

Not everyone thought <Sovereign>'s victory was well earned, however.

"THEY CHEATED WITH UBRS BUFF, HONESTLY WHAT IS
HAPPENING TO OUR SERVER?" Said Mootwo of <PK>, proud
hall monitor of Orgrimmar's city streets and honorary wielder of the
realm's only green quality 2handed lifesteal enchanted axe.

"What's the point in even playing this game if we can't play fair
like we do all the time in life?" snarled the unimpressed Hunter.

"Chumps." Said Slooty, Mayor of Gadgetzan, "Let's see them down
Ragnaros in my town with my guards under my command."

However perceived, the stones of inner Blackrock Mountain were
paved with the skeletons of Tauren, Orcs, Trolls, and Undead
alike: <West Dragon> of the Horde had ended up wiping as a
raid to a boss encounter they didn’t expect to see: <Sovereign>

“The blood was smeared on the path to Molten Core inside Blackrock
Mountain” said Nanonicus, #1 rogue of <Unity>

“Zizek himself couldn’t have painted a better picture.”

The nefarious Zizek was unavailable for comment, as reports seem to
have indicated he was busy outside the front gates, slaughtering countless
<TEAM PINNACLE> players for fun and games. Too bad the real
fun and games were happening inside the Mountain.

<Sovereign>’s timing could not have been more impeccable: the Firelord
was slain only 31 minutes before <West Dragon>’s broken and tattered
confidence rebuilt-and rejoiced over their own defeat of the Firelord.
“Utter disappointment.” Said Juldana of <West Dragon>, “this was worse
than the time Smooth stained his paints while drinking”.

Yet when there is loss for one faction, there is victory for another:
<Sovereign> did what they promised to do. They finished off what they
started. Despite the losses of some to a newly founded guild of haters
and rejects, <Prominence> themselves congratulated their rivals in their
success.

“It sucks that it wasn’t us” said Krylonwon of <Prominence>, as he was
feverishly farming rope nets in the farmlands of Westfall “but at least it
was an Alliance victory. I guess at the end of the day, that’s all that counts
LOL.”

All that counts indeed.

"Can't believe we did it when I was baked the entire fight too! Gunny was so mad!"
proclaimed Moghedian, honorary Warlock soul-stoner of <Sovereign>. He
died halfway through the fight. Guess that's what soulstones are for.

"Ironforge will know of this immediately." Said Nymaera of <Sovereign>
smiling, who unfortunately had to sit out. What a day she picked to be late.

“We ( Sovereign ) did it first. And at the end of the day, that’s all that matters
to us.” Said Perkan, stalwart defender of the Alliance and proud Paladin
of <Sovereign>.

“We couldn’t have pictured it any better.”

Pictures speak a thousand words. Videos speak a thousand more. But this
article can only summarize the events, and remember the proud 40 that
shared themselves in a moment of triumph.

Skimmed through your post looking for a mention of me, left disappointed.

Edit: fun guild, good people never enjoyed a game better then when I raided with these guys. Join, collect loot, collect a story to tell the grandchildren about the old days of the early 21st century.

Holy fusck-toast, the day has finally come that I quote Butchgore because I agree with him.

So yeah, Perkeroni, the story was always a little better capped with the trivial note that DMaw's first Rag kill was tanked by a gnome she-warrior with pink ponytails: BUTCHGORE!

All that being said... you still got it perkz. I'd do you. If I could remember how.
