MoP: Ele or Enhance.

Which is currently pulling the most? I am maining my shaman for MoP, and enjoy Enhance and Ele about equally.

As someone who is also curious about the state of shamans in beta and how they compare , it's really aggravating to see this thread is half-filled with snide remarks with no real rebuttal. OP finally asks the important question in "how is he wrong?" suddenly there's no responses to be found.

I don't sit at the computer all day waiting for thread responses, sorry. But now that I have seen this one, I'll respond. I watched several live streams over the past couple weeks and specifically looked for Shamans, of course. Some runs they had Shamans who obviously didn't know what they were doing, others had experienced ones. In the good runs with good guilds I saw Ele and Enh Shamans doing quite well. Each fight was different, and each fight allowed for each spec to outshine the other in certain mechanics. So at this point, assuming Blizz keeps the nerf bat away until launch, Shamans don't have too much to cry about. Of course that 20% dmg nerf to Ele recently was painful, and I wish they would reverse that decision. But overall we're going to be ok. We won't be at the top of the meters, but then again we never have been and probably never will be. But we won't be at the bottom either. I think we'll be in top 5-10% when played well in either spec. |
