I prolly fail at being funny, but in all seriousness... i am seriously considering warrior for MoP new main. It looks like they have a lot of good changes. Can anyone share some knowledge or thoughts with me?

Warriors are the funnest class to play in the game (IMO).

Purely a melee class in which we have no fancy pants ranged attacks to deal damage we need to be right in the thick of it in order to put out our pressure, once we charge in kicking and screaming there is no turning back.
Now for the state of mop not too sure can't really judge much since numbers are still being tweaked but pvp looks to be better for us with the removal or stance requirements for disarm and other abilities also out talent trees allowing us to put out a fair amount of damage/cc/utility if we so choose.
Our pve had always been quite strong so I'd expect no less of us when mop hits.

If you want to hit things with sticks, roll a warrior.

If you don't like the idea of solving ALL your problems by hitting things with sticks, I wouldn't roll a warrior.

havent played beta. wouldnt if i could i like my expansions fresh and new. but too the point, We look good going in to mop from what ive read and see and theorize on my own. Greil nails most of it i think if not all. we always balance out well in pve with one spec or the other dps wise. always seem to be very strong and viable tanks. pvp is always ups and downs and tweaking its just our nature i think. the stance's being taken out essentially is big.

now if you have never played warrior and you main that hunter....HUGE dif in mentality. you should find warriors challenging and fun to play because of it. polar opposites. you play a class that controls and keeps away from its target's. warrior gets controlled and needs to battle through it to get on his target and burst out some pain. warrior is in the face action. its a lot of fun.

There is no "O-CRAP" Button. You go in you kill or be killed.

Exactly. I don't find Warrior's Survivabilty to be the WORST, but you don't have much. It's still one of the funnest classes in my opinion, The simplicity makes me happy.. And yes, if you love Metallica, you will love the Warrior ;)

What spec for leveling? Also, what race, alliance? Any more tips?

Play the spec with talent points in it.

Play the race you feel the best playing.

alliance roll human / spec ARMS

Make sure to keybind victory rush, you will need it.

Arms? was thinking that prot would be better for lvling for faster dungeon queues? is this not the case?

Prot is most likely the way to go if you don't have looms, prot out damages arms until higher levels.

Warriors and metal music go hand in hand.

Made a Human, have BoA pvp shoulders, guild cloak and helm. gonna lvl as prot.

What are best proffs to lvl

If you like metallica perhaps a DK is more your class, a sell out version of a warrior. Warriors are more for Megadeth fans.

I am more of a Black Label Society fan.
