First of all, if you're still rocking an iphone, then get rid of it and jump on the bandwagon.
According to Nielsen Report (Google it), 54% of cell phone users are using a smartphone.
Of those using smartphones, 51% are using an android powered device, with 34% using an iOS powered device (ipad, iphone, etc).
That leaves the smallest slice of the cake to blackberry and windows phones.
In case you all aren't familiar, Google has done many other things in the past to win our hearts over and dominate the communications and data industry.
Remember way back when they bought Youtube? Or perhaps recently when they bought Samsung mobility, and started producing the nexus series of devices.
Well, Google is at it again.
They will now be providing us with the best internet and cable service known to man.
According to this article, they will be providing internet service that has speeds of 1GBps and cable TV+google channels (wut?) for $120 a month.
Wait... 1 GIG per second? Yes, you read that right. And no data cap, either!
You can also just buy the super fast internet service for $70 per month.
IT GETS BETTER THOUGH.
You know that comcast or local ISP internet service you're paying $50 per month for with speeds of 5mbps down and 1mbps up? Google will be providing that for FREE! FREE..... well, you pay an initial $300 fee, but for the next seven years, you can have the same internet you're paying for now for free....
Here's the article: http://www.g4tv.com/thefeed/blog/post/726369/google-announces-google-fiber-100x-faster-internet-plus-free-internet/
And here is the google page on it: https://fiber.google.com/about/
Ok, Google, please just buy Facebook and North Korea already and claim world dominance.

Look, just give their mind control ray project a chance. There's no way it can be abused, so don't worry about it. Besides, nobody complained when they built that army of killbots.
Actually Microsoft has closer relations to Facebook than Google. Google and Facebook consider themselves competitors. Microsoft and Facebook on the other hand have a strategic alliance together. Microsoft has been working closely with Facebook for quite a while now. Microsoft acquired an equity stake in Facebook way back in 2007. http://news.cnet.com/8301-13577_3-9803872-36.html

Speaking of google, did you know that the company has the ability to pay for people's housing if they're good enough?
There was an article recently that said google bought a lot of housing space in silicon valley and houses their "super nerds" there? By super nerds I mean individuals who are exceptionally good at what they do like programming, and are like vampires in the sense that they never go in the sun.
Everything is provided for them..utilities, food, entertainment, basic furniture. All they have to do is meet their quotas for google.

The problem companies like google will have to face is that people don't like buying everything they need from one company. However, we do it when that company is the best at everything. Which is why I for one, appreciate our new googlely overlords
