I was missing some of the sense of community of what WoW was when I started, and it got me thinking.
That sense of community came from a guild and a group of players, that quested, played, ran instances and leveled together. It did not come from rushing through a zone, trying to get from 1 to MAX in as little time as possible. It did not come from having max levels run your lowbie around the world, and through instances. It came from making friends, and playing with those friends, and from meeting new people. This has led me to an idea, that while simple in concept might be hard to put into effect. 1. Get a group of characters/players together and starting new alts, willing to play, level, run instances together. 2. Keep the Characters involved with in a level of each other. 3. Do it old school style, ie. NO BOA equipment. No using Dungeon finder, to find players for instances. Can use the Dungeon Finder to make it easier to get to the instances. This is an idea I have been tossing around in my head. Something I am willing to organize, get going, even form a new guild, and reroll a character, be it horde or alliance. If anybody is interested, or has comments ideas on this let me know here or in game. |

Its an interesting concept without a doubt - I've seen it conducted alot with various people levelling alts here on Farstriders, though I will digress most of them default over to BoAs after the first few levels. I've been levelling an alt on WrA without BoAs and questing. It's quite fun, but a bit... Anti-social of me at times.
