PvP battle at Halaa

We all know that Outland is rather empty now since it is only a leveling/farming continent. However, there are two mounts (the Dark War Talbuk and the Dark Riding Talbuk) at Halaa in Nagrand that are only obtainable by getting honor kills on the opposing faction. Given that it is difficult to even see someone of the opposing faction of reasonable level in Halaa, we are coordinating a battle on Thursday at 7pm server. We already have sign-ups from both sides.
The mounts are obtained with both research tokens and battle tokens. The research tokens are obtained by turning in dust (which drops from ogres in Nagrand) and the battle tokens are obtained through the honor kills mentioned. Both mounts cost a total of 170 battle tokens. From what I understand, each player in the party/raid gets a token for each honor kill, even if they didn't get the killing blow. So, if pvp or collecting mounts is your thing, please let us know and we will send out a calendar invite, which we will use for mass invites when the time comes. For the alliance, we will also be taking down the whale shark afterward, if there is time. |
