Raid Leader: list of cooldowns

Personal, External and Raidwide cooldowns listed as: Class – ability* (spell id) effect type: defensive/healing. *If not available to all class specializations, it will either say “talent” or “spec”. This overview is limited to healing and defensive cooldowns available at level 90. I left out all the funky stuff, such as DPS enhancing abilities, debuffs, crowd controls and interrupts. Some spells are a bit arbitrary, for example ‘Power infusion’ is listed as a healing cooldown, while it can also be used by Shadow Priests as a dps cooldown. I chose to leave out less powerful healing spells with a cooldown shorter than 1 minute, like Halo and Light’s Hammer. Spell-id’s are added for those of you who want to track them with DBM spelltimers, Vuhdo or other spell tracking addons. Spell information or durations can be found on Wowhead by entering the spell-id after this link: http://mop.wowhead.com/spell=######. Keep in mind some spells might be more powerful or slightly altered when glyphed. I did not include this. If you feel I’ve missed something, please share your ideas in the comments below. TL;DR It’s just a list for easy reference. Table of contents 1. Raid cooldowns 2. External cooldowns 3. Personal cooldowns 4. Miscellaneous cooldowns 5. Addons 1. Raidwide Affects multiple raidmembers. Death Knight 2. External Can be used on any raidmember. Druid |

4. Miscellaneous
Abilities that require extra healing or might be of interest for specific roles, are listed here. I didn’t follow any rules here for including or excluding spells. If you feel I’ve missed something, please share your ideas in the comments below… Battle rezzes (for easy reference) Death Knight NEW! Addons I figured I might as well add some ingame addons that are useful to track cooldowns and other RL stuff ingame. - oRA3 http://www.curse.com/addons/wow/ora3. Think of it as an all-in-one raidleader addon. You can use it to track (mainly preconfigured) stuff like durability and to throw out invites. I mostly use it for the cooldown timers though. It's much like DBM spelltimers, but with class-colored bars and it's easier to check/uncheck spells you wanna keep track of. |

Not sure if it belongs in this fantastic list
Druid: Cenarion Ward - Talent... On Anyone - On Damage Taken Heal |

Thanks! And indeed, interesting ability. I found it difficult to define what to consider a cooldown and what not. CW's duration and cooldown are relatively short (30 seconds) and not as powerful as -say- Renewal (which is in the same tier). Therefore, I decided to not include it in this list. My thought are that spells like these are likely to be part of the player's regular (healing) rotation. I would probably use it on cooldown / keep it active on the tank. I might add the durations and cooldowns (when i find the time). Unfortunately it isn't possible to create spell-links in this forum. That would make it sooo much easier... |

Pointing out a spelling error : Section 3 Hunter. Feigh Death should be Feign Death

Why do people keep reporting this? It's a resource for raid leaders. Is it very useful to have all class cool downs in one spot. Thanks for putting the effort into making this, I'll be bookmarking it.

Great list! Thanks so much.
Minor Thoughts Spirit Shell: I'm not sure it's technically a "raidwide" cooldown. From my understanding, which could be flawed, it's a spell that changes the priests healing to absorption, correct? I guess it could be raid wide if it was used and then Prayer of Healing, but I'm not entirely sure that falls under a "raid cooldown." That being said, my concept of a raidwide cooldown is something that can be cast and will instantly effect the entire raid (tranq, devotion aura, divine hymn, etc). Spirit Shell doesn't quite fall under that category. As it takes two spells to get there and even then I don't think the amount of absorption would be comparable to a true raidwide cooldown. I could be wrong on that though. I would also agree that Cenarion Ward would be under the Druid External list. Either way, thanks for the list and work in putting it together. |

Corrected spelling error, thnx Lion.
It is a bit ambiguous, yes. Although it has a short cd, it can be very powerful and it affects multiple targets. As stated in the OP, I chose to leave out the less powerful healing cd's with a cooldown shorter than 1 minute, as I feel that they are likely to be part of a normal rotation. Having a 80-100k bubble on multiple (if not, all) players before a big damage spike occurs, makes it pretty powerful. My reason to include it: a raidleader will want to know about this spell, as it is both powerful and (can) affect(s) multiple players. It can be worth it to hold it off cd and use at very specific times in a fight.
My concept is similar, although I made the distinction between "affects 1 player" versus "affects multiple players". Since Disc priest's playstyle is all about being proactive (thus not always instantly affecting the raid), I do not want to exclude these spells by only adding reactive (instant) spells.
My druid is on an inactive account, so I'm not able to test it. The desciption of the spell makes it sound similar to Prayer of Mending: cheap, short cooldown, heals for a moderate amount and is part of your normal rotation. I really don't think it's worth mentioning this type of spells here (sorry! :-)) |

Why not include Smoke Bomb? It has some niche uses(hagara comes to mind).

Should this be under personal cd's or misc? I placed it under personals, but I have no idea tbh... • Smoke Bomb (76577) defensive? |

I believe as a disc/holy priest if I was to pop spirit shell then define hymn it would effect all within the range for hymn thus applying spirit shell and a potential of 100k per person for absorbs that is indeed a massive raid cooldown. Or even just prayer of healing that still 50-100k for one group. Very well done on the post definitely bookmarking.

Spirit Shell is a discipline-only ability. And even if it were available to holy priests, it's not affected by Divine Hymn, only heal, flash heal, greater heal and prayer of healing. |

Prot Warriors have Demoralizing Shout as a personal CD. All Warriors have Demoralizing Banner as a raid CD.

sticky request made, ill be directing my raid leaders to this. Although one thought, it would have been nice to have a section of dps cds listed so that if a dps isnt performing well a raid leader can check to see if they are using proper cds :)
