Healing discrepancies (move to Bug Report?)

I've noticed that I heal for less in battlegrounds than I do in other instances (like the Elwynn Forest or Stormwind). At first I thought this might have to do with PvP Power, but I tested it in PvE gear as well. I still saw about a 5k drop in the power of Healing Surge while inside battleground instances. Note that what i used to test this was Healing Surge, but I've noticed a drop in all healing abilities. I opened a ticket about this and the GM assumed that I was oblivious to effects from other players decreasing healing (this is not the case). Is this a hotfix on battlegrounds that has not been applied to Realm servers or vice versa? Or is this a bug? I have selected "needed more help" and clarified my findings, but I figured I'd not waste a GM's time if I can get my answer here.

If anyone else has noticed a drop in healing could you describe it too please, if this is a bug I'm sure any information would be helpful.

You would probably want to talk to people about this on the Healing Forums, or the Shaman Forums. The GM's won't be able to tell you much of anything.

I don't see a talent or passive ability that says my heals are supposed to heal differently in different zones so I think it's safe to say its either a bug or a change that hasn't been mentioned.

The GM's won't be able to tell you much of anything.

Then why do they exist...

You may want to read this article, as it outlines where you can go for gameplay questions, though those two Forums are really where you want to head.

This isn't a question on gameplay... It's a bug report. Healing differently in different zones with no changes in buffs is an error. Did you even read the post?

If you truly feel it's an error, then you would fill out a Bug Report in-game, or you can make a post on the Bug Report Forum. The GM's still wouldn't be involved in either of those situations, as it would be something that QA deals with.

Fair enough, is there any way to move it to bug report on my end or do I just have to wait for a moderator?

Nah, but I flagged it for you to be moved. In cases like this, you can also go ahead and repost it yourself, and they'll lock this one instead when they can get to it. They don't consider it spamming the Forums in cases like that.

"We applied a healing nerf to Arenas and BGs because it was getting impossible to kill anyone. We hope this is just a temporary 85 measure. "
