Group 2 - Can't Nerf Skill

This is the recruitment thread for the second raid group in <The Wizard>. Please note that this raid team is not an alt run for the members of Group 1, but is a separate raid team altogether. We are a 10-man raid team looking for some good players to join us in progression through Mists of Pandaria raiding content.

About us

Can't Nerf skill (Group 2) is a new raiding team formed at the end of Dragon Soul. However, we are not new raiders. Most of us have previous heroic raiding experience, and we are skilled with our classes. We are a progression-oriented 10 man raid team. Our raid times are:

Wed/ Sun, 8:30-11:30 ST

We do not raid as many hours as some other raid teams, but what we intend to do is to make the time we DO spend in raid count. As such, there are a few guidelines we expect our raiders to follow.

Raider expectations

This raid team is a progression-oriented team. As such, There are a few traits that we desire from our raiders in order to get the best use of our time in raid.

Punctuality. Please be online 10-15 minutes before raid so that we can set up the group, get last minute gems and enchants, prepare feasts and cauldrons, etc.

Attendance. If you cannot show up to the raid times we have set down, do not apply. We understand that real life pops up from time to time, but if it happens all the time, it's likely that our schedule does not fit yours. Likewise, no-shows without a reason will not be accepted.

Prepared. We want our raiders to be gemmed and enchanted correctly for raids, with food and flasks ready in case the caldron or feast provider is not there, and with Tome's of Clear Mind in their bags for talent changes if necessary. We'll be happy to help you with these, but you have to show a desire to be prepared first.

Driven. We are progression-minded. If you are not prepared to potentially spend several days or weeks progressing on one boss, You are not prepared to join this team.

What we will provide for our raiders

A friendly raid team. While it may sound like we're a hardcore raiding guild, we are not truly hardcore. We still want this game to be fun, and the above guidelines are simply to help us have as much fun as we can while killing raid bosses.

Help with gearing. If you show a drive to progress and work towards our boss kills, we will be happy to help you get gemmed and enchanted. We will also try to bring a few feasts and caldrons to every raid.

Dungeon Runs. We know how tedious it can be to run random heroics (Especially if you are waiting in the long dps queue). Throughout the week, we will do team heroic runs, to help our members earn VP and get upgrades. While our raiders are not required to join these heroic runs, it is recommended and available to all of our raiders.

Current needs

At the time of this post, our group is looking for 2 tanks, a melee dps, and a healer (Preferably a resto druid). Seeing as we have 2 paladins in our team already, Please do not apply as a Paladin, as you will likely be declined.

Contact us

If you are interested in joining our raid team, or have any questions/ comments/ concerns, you can send a whisper or in-game mail to me or Odne. If neither of us are online, speak to anyone in the guild, and they will pass on the message to us.
