Remove fishing tournaments from Fishing meta!

Since they aren't even available in game anymore it's time to remove 'Master Angler of Azeroth' from 'Accomplished Angler'.
Yes the tournaments will be back but who knows when? This is a change that's long overdue imo anyway. The tournaments being disabled only highlight the need for change. |

Remove one that didn't get away, it is the only one I haven't got ..... 2000 catches later and still no 15 pounder!

But they will be with the next client side patch. I still wish they'd remove it from the meta. I really want that title, but I don't even bother because I know I'll never win that stupid tournament. :s |

Blue post: In the case of the weekly Stranglethorn Fishing Extravaganza, we also found that players from other realms were able to jump to a realm in a different time zone to get a head start on fishing, allowing them to win their home realm’s tournament as soon as it began. This isn’t fair for anyone and will require some new tech on our end to ensure the integrity of timed competitions. Unfortunately, this change will require a client-side patch, so we are disabling the fishing tournaments until we can deliver the fix for them in a future patch. Future patch doesnt mean next patch. They require new tech and who knows when they will develope it. We may have months without the derby, thats why it should be removed. Hope you didnt break a horn hitting your face on your desk. |

I'll give you props for being honest. It does not seem it will e gone long and your chances over the next few weeks would be slim because with everyone leveling, people that want the meta would flock because they would think "It will be empty with everyone leveling". My wife found this out at the start of Cata ;) Future patch != 'next client side patch' Learning to read blue posts is hard too...at least for you. I have been doing it for many years and 9 times out of 10 "future patch" is the next one. You just have to know Blizz never says "The next one" in case something SNAFUs. If you think you are better at "blue speak" than I..I'll ask, do you have a blue tracker app for your smart phone? ;) |

I will admit a part of me wants this to happen because I never win at those things
but, no there is no reason to remove it from the Meta. They should try to fix it as fast as possible however. |

When they change their minds and do away with it for good, I'll be right there with bells on demanding they remover it from the meta louder than you. You have my word on that. I just do not think they would do that. |
I guess you didnt read the blue post i quoted. They need new tech to fix the derbys. I doubt thats high on their list by next patch. Even if it is in the next patch, it is weeks away. Thats enough lost chances to make removing the derby from the meta. |

Check my achievements, i dont cheese my way to anything. This is an achievement that might not be back for an extended period of time. Give people who won it a FOS and drop it from the meta. Its integrity has already been ruined by those who did cheese their way to a win. |

Can't tell how you earned anything from the list. ...and it might be back soon. Lets not jump the gun here. It is 1 hour gone. How about we wait a month or so and see where things are at before we have a riot? (Related: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XazOmi4yIbU )
...and Blizz took deciseve action to prevent future harm. Good for them. |

I don't know about removing it from the meta or not. But couldn't they just disable CRZ on select zones when the event starts and enable CRZ when the event ends until it's fixed?
