If you are someone that puts your family and career first, cannot commit to 100% raiding attendance, doesn't care about hard modes or fancy achievements (we do them only as time permits), but would like to see content and raid only 1 or 2 nights a week, we may be the guild for you.
NOTE: We will not be rushing to level 90 to start raiding immediately. We will be enjoying the new content and leveling experience, but I’m sure we’ll have a ton of 5 mans / heroics going on along with enjoying the new Pet Battle system.
Recruiting all classes / roles - equally geared off-specs are a plus!
Raid Schedule: Wednesday & Thursday - 8:30pm to 11:00pm PST (Server Time) Total of 5 hours per week. Raids are scheduled on our website calendar a month in advance so we can plan our play time around our personal schedules. Sign up for 1 raid or all raids.
About Radiant Dark:
Radiant Dark is a level 25 Alliance guild on the US server Windrunner (PST/PVE). The guild was created as a casual friends and family guild within the first few weeks of launch of classic World of Warcraft, in 2004, making us one of the oldest original guilds on the server. Since that time we have evolved to include a serious raiding unit while still maintaining the casual atmosphere.
We are a guild comprised of adults (21+) that juggle family, careers, and WoW. As with all games, we want to have fun while we explore this virtual world. Warcraft is our hobby, not our life. Our officer core is strong, organized, and more importantly committed to the guild which is proven by the length of time the guild has been in existence. We are not a “here today, gone tomorrow” guild. We’ve been around from the beginning and have no plans of going anywhere soon.
We are not, nor have we ever claimed to be, a hardcore raiding guild but we do have a serious raiding unit that is comprised of our Dark Raider Rank. We are not interested in keeping up with the high-end guilds on our server, server firsts, hard modes, or special achievements. We are interested in conquering new content, with people we enjoy, at our own pace. We're about people and respecting people’s playtime and ability. We look at guild members as our extended family therefore we are more concerned with the person behind the character.
Our Raider Rank:
The Dark Raider Rank is made up of those that are casual players in that their work, family, or personal obligations do not allow them to commit to the raiding schedules of a hardcore raiding guild. But, they are serious about raiding and committed to perfecting their main character and maximizing their contribution to a raid. People in this rank understand that raiding is a team effort and everyone must perform to their maximum potential. They have researched and understand their class mechanics. They have their gear properly gemmed and enchanted to support their role in a raid. They study raid encounters to get a general idea of what to expect to make it easier on our raid leaders. When they sign up for a raid they can be counted on being there, on time, and for the duration.
All we ask of our Dark Raiders:
~ Fit the description of our Dark Raider Rank above.
~ Be geared appropriately for our current level of progression content.
~Commit to at least 1 night of raiding per week.
We are NOT interested in is people looking for a stepping stone into the larger guilds, drama queens, loot or meter obsessed, or those that insist on participating in Trade Chat by referencing they’re body orifice and skills or their favorite legendary weapon.

YES!! Actually, at our annual guild summer BBQ held just a few weeks ago, one of our members brought a variety of cupcakes that included a Chocolate Salted Bacon cupcake. I have to say they were awesome!
But, more importantly, we have healthstone cupcakes. At our summer BBQ in 2011, Carmelita, who plays a warlock, made green velvet cupcakes with green cream cheese frosting and green sugar sprinkles that looked like healthstones :-) Ever since it's become a tradition on raids to ask her for her cupcakes.
Threats of violence. We take these seriously and will alert the proper authorities.
