Rabbots have apparently been removed from the game (at least, they are no longer in either the journal or the safari achievement.)
Snowy owls spawn only during the winter. Qiraji Guardlings spawn only during the summer. |

Thanks for the reminders on the Restless Shadeling and the Youngling Flayer, Therealgor. Will add them to my list.
Thanks to you, too, Venatra for the info on the Rabbots ... have been working via wowhead, so it's entirely probable that their list hasn't been updated. Will update my list to reflect the possible removal of the in game. As for adding weather conditions/seasons/time of day etc. ... I wanted to get the list up first. As I continue my farming adventures I will add this type of information. Thanks for the requests for stickies! I'm glad others are finding this useful. |

Also, don't forget about the baby dragons of Pandaria - wild crimson, golden, and jade hatchlings. Unless they've changed since Beta, you need to be exalted with the dragon riders to tame them, but they definitely should be on the list.

I caught an Infected Fawn on Bloodmyst Isle, and have the Level 3 version in my Pet List to prove it. I can't remember if I ran into it on its own or if it came to a battle with something else, but I definitely didn't get my first one in EPL.

Blizzard should add this very useful information to the game by making a pet capture achievement for each zone and putting an asterisk next to each pet that is unique to one zone.
Each achievement should also list the level range for wild pets in that zone so that is easy to access. The achievements could list all the wild pets found in each zone, even the common ones found in many zones, such as rats. Capturing one rat would count toward the achievement for every zone with rats. |

The Widow and Dusk spiderlings located in Duskwood are backwards. Widow spiderlings are the night-exclusive ones. Dusk spiderlings are always there.
(I'd been working on a similar spreadsheet myself.) ;) ________________________________________________ Do not shy from dark paths... if those paths lead to victory -Apothecary Zamah |

This list has been so handy! Thank you :)
- For Silithus, the Scarab Hatchling also seems to be unique. It's actually mostly in the "Ahn'Qiraj" zone, but that's really just a dummy zone attached to Silithus anyway, so probably worth noting. - For Winterspring, I believe the Crystal Spider is another unique. - It's probably also worth noting the Tundra Penguin. It technically spans two zones (BT and Dragonblight) but only because its very limited range is in the ice flow between those two zones. It's really just DB with a few strays that wander over into BT. And it's unique and limited to that one area. - I think Biletoad is another unique for Shol. |
