Warriors are an exception now since abilities aren't stance dependant. But stances were central to the class until recently.
Sadly someone went through a lot of work to remove warriors from that list. [stance] conditions for warriors still work.
Neither do warriors now.
And I don't really understand why Blizzard makes this distinction. If a class uses a "StanceBarFrame", which is what auras/presences/etc use, why can't we use the stance conditional? Does it make it unfair somehow that these classes (Paladins/Death Knights/etc) get to use it?

Definition of a stance is that it allows you access to specific abilities that otherwise you wouldn't have access to, and locks you out of others.
Paladin auras are just glorified buffs and don't do any of the above so they're not stances.
