10% of time I get choppy video & sound on Ret

I have a Retina Display MBP (16GB RAM, SSD, etc)

The game plays great. Pretty much plays as it did on my 17" MBP with SSD, however with one slight difference.

As I run around questing, I notice that the music will be playing (game music) (which I enjoy, and even sometimes sing/hum along with it) and then suddenly the music will STOP, as if the the sound all STOPS and resets.

Then the next group of sounds may start, combat sounds, or another song entirely.

Sometimes this also coincides with Video Choppyness.

For example:

While doing 5 man instances, sometimes during a battle (sometimes while running in between packs of mobs) the sound and video will freeze but only for say 1 second, and then it "catches up" and things go on fine until the next random time.

It doesn't happen all of the time, but I just notice it as a difference, and something that did not happen on prior year Gen MBP hardware.

I have read through the FAQs to see if any of my symptoms are covered there, but I didn't see anything specific.

Thanks for any info.

I've heard of reports here and there about this. Can you post some system information?

    1. Launch World of Warcraft and log in.
    2. Put World of Warcraft into Windowed Mode if it is not already in Windowed Mode.
    3. From the system menu bar, select Help > Copy Support Information: http://i45.tinypic.com/foodww.png
    4. Paste the contents of the copied system information here (Command-V)

Also, have you tried to rebuild your game caches to see if this helps in any way?

    1. Navigate to /Applications/World of Warcraft
    2. Move the WTF, Cache and Interface folders to the desktop
    3. Now go into the Data folder and delete the Cache folder
    4. Navigate to /Users/Shared and delete the Battle.net folder
    5. Launch the World of Warcraft Launcher. Let all updates apply and hit Play when Game is up to date is displayed.
