Has this been happening since you upgraded from cata client or have you played mists and it just stopped working?

Edit: reason I ask is that you are using integrated graphics on a laptop that is by my guess a couple years old. Blizz upped the system requirements for mists

Found your problem:

Card name: Standard VGA Graphics Adapter

I'd go get a $30 1GB Pci-e card from Tiger direct and resolve the issue.

He's on a laptop

This is the important question. Were you able to run Mists for a bit and then it stopped working or did it stop working as soon as you upgraded to Mists?

If you were able to run Mists you might be able to fix it. If it stopped working as soon as you upgraded to Mists then you might be out of luck.

So you've been able to run MoP on the hardware before or not?

According to the Acer website you have a NVIDIA® GeForce® 8600M G graphics card in that laptop (which ought to be better than most laptops, yay!)

You need to head over to http://www.geforce.com/drivers and download the appropriate driver for your OS (the auto-detect option should work, if not go to GeForce 8M Series (Notebooks)

This question still needs to be answered.

When you re-installed did you install all of the drivers for your laptop? You can locate them all at the Acer Support Page <http://us.acer.com/ac/en/US/content/drivers>.

You should probably get your video card drivers from the manufacturer of the card.
