Rofl. I don't go off of facts. I only go off what i see. Hate to break it to you but priests are at the bottom of pvp totem pole.
Rdruid is best with pal/monk/sham close in 2nd and then >>>>>>>>>>>>>> priest.
Don't mistake bad players with a bad class. No druid would double my healing especially since I am almost always the top healer playing at 2100+ cr and 2.2k mmr

shamans have the best rawr healing
druids have best none healing utility
paladins work best with melee cleave type comps
mistweaves have amazing aoe healing / rbg setting
priests go oom and fall over.
one would think paladins usual tank baby sit away from the action may have something to do with that...

Holy Pallys have alot more cc now. Rebuke, blinding light, hoj, repent. Been putting bad kfc healers in 20 second plus cc chains myself.
Also with kfc and Bm running rampent holy pallies are needed for the bop, sac and symb. bubles.
My opinion i would want a hpally for any kfc, melee comp. Resto druid for caster cleaves. No idea about rshammys yet. I think a resto shammy may be able to counter some caster cleaves with the dble purge.
Remmber hpallys are big burst heals. lay on hands, mastery bops freedoms sac buble and guardian.
Hpallys are designed to keep that tank up thru burst for rbgs. Also really usefull for mage comps. Id like to see a melee cleave kill a mage with 2 freedoms.
Rating them from 1 to 10 with a "5" being "ok".
Resto Shaman - 7 <-- Solid, but not over-the-top like the resto Druid currently is.
Disc Priest - 2 <-- Mana issues are horrible!! Patch 5.1 helps them with survivability somewhat.
Holy Paladin - 7 <-- This is my main. I'm enjoying it. :-)
Resto Druid - 9 <-- Ridiculous mobility & spammable cc's (Cyclone) make this the best IMHO.
Holy Priest - 3 <-- Weak. You probably won't have too much fun/success.
Mistweaver Monk - 5 <-- I've been in arena battle against them and they seem ok.

I cant believe i see so many ppl putting druid at the top or near top of list. Bg healing on druid is great if you know how to get away from trouble, but in my experience so far in 2's arena, dont even think about trying for rating. Double deeps or hpal is the only viable option. Get your offspec rdy. I would imagine the same goes for 3's arena. We dont have the tools to heal through more than 1 skilled dps opponent without 100% of your teammates effort going toward cc and peels.

Hpally is best in 2's and 3's because their burst heals and mana conservation. also viable in rated. It's all about living thru the burst in arena and Hpallys are the best burst healers. not so great while stunned but you are given like 3 stuns so utilize them well and don't be a baddy.
MW monks are the best in rated bgs due to their aoe heals (no one has ever outhealed me in a rated bg or a random bg). but terrrrriblleeeeee in arena because of lack of ability to heal while stunned. Always go after the monks partner NOT THE MONK (way too good at avoidance due to transcendence and chi rolls and the mass amount of defense CDs) (also make sure to use healing spheres on your transcendence if the opponent decides to attack you and always keep some out for your parnter to use while you are stunned) problem with monks is Chi wave is an amazing way to keep your partner healed while stunned due to it longevity but it take entirely too long to get to your partner!
Rdruid is close to monk in rated bgs but aren't as good burst healers as monks are. are amazing at healing while stunned due to the wide variety of HoTs. we all know how many damn stuns have been added to this game (makes it almost damn near impossible to heal sometimes). Rdruids are annoying to face because they have so many friggin cc's and cyclone spam makes you want to shoot yourself. but i usually always outheal them in arena and rated bgs and i don't dislike them as much as shamans or holy pally.
Rshamans are pretty well rounded and survive well while being stunned due to earth shield and riptide and totems. Thing about healing is it isn't as easy as people think it is. being a dps you can plan out everything you're trying to do when healers have to be quick witted and fast while being sneaky because you never know when a burst is coming. Like fckin chaos wave! wtf is that! so dam OP.
Priests are a joke for pvp and I have never feared a comp with a priest in it. Maybe good for rated bgs but not a viable class. if you focus priest they are squishy and have zero avoidance.
excuse my grammar this is a video game forum i'm not trying to impress anyone. you get what i am trying to say so live with it. I'm not typing a dam essay here. just giving some quick input to help my fellow wowers choose the right flavor of the week.
Everyone seems to want at least 1 Druid then a monk or shaman for good AOE heals then one Hpal. I don't think anyone touches paladin for single target heals which is why people bring them . Plus the BoP's, LoH for FC maps, Salv's and freedoms are nice.

In terms of pure fun, I'd say Mistweaver! You can kill on the bg healing charts, kill!
We've got a teleport (if you drop three orbs on your place of teleportation, you got a big heal waiting for you when you escape), a nice statue to help heal, healy orbs appear ALL over the place, you can heal things with your hot while you rezz (cuz honestly, crazy CC makes you die fast!), a 3 min cd aoe heal that dispells stuff, countless ways to lose melee on you, etc!
Yep, I'd say MW kills on pure fun! BG experience, not arena. Not sure how it is in arena.
