Constant Disconnects with Centurylink.

This issue started for me on the 24th (The day after I started using Centurylink), I'm always disconnected within 15 minutes of playtime, very rarely do I go any longer than that. This has severely hindered anything I could possibly do in game, I can hardly even run through a scenario without being disconnected. It was hard enough leveling to 90, now that I'm here, I can't do anything, because I have a constant fear of being disconnected during combat.

At this point, I'm extremely close to cancelling my subscription. Which is unfortunate, because I was really, really looking forward to enjoying this expansion.

Now, I have been reading around the Technical Support forum since this problem started, and I -have- been trying every one of the fixes that have been suggested, but unfortunately, nothing has worked.

I ran a traceroute earlier, because this thread is pretty much my last resort before cancelling my subscription and refraining from playing WoW for a while.

Not recently, I actually haven't touched it since the day the CenturyLink guy came to set up my phone and DSL.

Well, I did reset and unplug my router yesterday, because it seemed as if Velnrak was implying for me to do so. There were no changes, my problem still persists.

I'm in Inverness Florida, right outside Ocala. I doubt it depends on the area, who knows though.

Not very helpful, but.. I have Centurylink and I have had zero problems with WoW. The problem is either in your area, or on your end.

I've had the same problem. I live in cape coral florida and just recently got the same modem with the built in router. I have a feeling that thats the problem. I just switched back to the old modem and linksys router and so far i havent disconnected.

I have the same problem with the same router. I even returned mine for a new one thinking it was faulty and still same problem. I even bought a brand new gaming computer thinking it was due to the graphics card. :( I have forward ports and applications. same problem with diablo III as well. I'm in Missouri.

I just got back into playing WoW from about 2 years ago, and CentruyLink is what I've always had. Back then it was fine, it started doing this within the last few months, same issue as others in here.

Im in Midway Ga, about 10-15 min from Hinesville/Fort Stewart, and about 20 min from Savannah, I'm thinking that CentruyLink is going to crap....gonna have to look into Comcast, if they have it out here.

Given all you posters from diff/similar areas with same make/model of router and same ISP, it's not a WoW or Blizzard issue, its an issue either with the ISP itself. Probably not the router, the ISP is probably blocking traffic ports for whatever apparent reason as its going out from blizzard to your end. From the OP's original post and log, it looks like traffic out is fine, but response time is horrid and just times out. Definately originating from CenturyLink end. Only recourse is call your ISP and as for IP reset or IP re-assign. If that doesn't fix the problem, find a different provider IMO. DSL Broadband is pure crap and outdated 5 year old plus technology as it is.

I'm not even able to try that right now, I'm experiencing MORE issues after the maintenance. Once I'm able to log on, I will see if that works though.
