How do I get back to stormwind from the hellfire peninsula?

On the Hellfire side of the Dark Portal, on the alliance half of the platform, you'll see a portal between two mages. That portal takes you to the top of the Mage tower in Stormwind.

There's also another one in Shattrath (the main city in Outland, it's a sanctuary so both factions are welcome there).

You can also take a griffin to Shattrah. Inside the main structure is a portal to Stormwind.
