Blizz why have you not made any RECENT responses or threads based on the DX11 issue?
All you tell people to do is switch API to DX9. This has its own FPS issues as well and performance sux even on an I7 3930K and a GTX590 card.

DX11 in WoW broke after the patch. We should not have to risk random fixes by other players to make the game playable. Not everyone's "fix" is gonna work for everyone.

Fix your game Blizz and at least let us know you actually care about this issue instead of laughing it off cause your still getting our sub payment for a game we cant play properly.

What issues does running DX11 do your system?

Currently, the only real DX11 issue I've seen is with laptops that are using the Nvidua Optimus technology. This is an issue which is being looked into by both, Blizzard and Nvidia.

I've never seen any DX11 issues running SLi. Game running perfectly for me. Could be something with your dual gpu/single board. What issues are you talking about exactly?

DX11 is affecting only certain series of AMD and nVidia cards. It is also only affecting certain revisions of these series. Also, a lot of users only have DX9 cards/onboard but the game is defaulting to DX11, this is causing entirely different issues.

I remember some non Nivida Optimus users were having issues, but that turned out to be caused by some corrupted Windows updates that they had installed around the time of the patch. Uninstalling and reinstalling the updates seems to have resolved that issue.

Sorry Blizz, try again. There is a real issue with DX11 and at least the GTX 500 series of Nvidia cards, if not others.

I just installed MoP yesterday and got some kernal error repeatedly about the video card, making the game unplayable. When I was able to turn on DX9, the problem has ceased. This error occured most commonly with the 306.23 driver. When I reverted to the 301.42 driver, the problem seemed to go away at first, but then I got the same kernel error with DX11 on and then went to DX9 without any further apparent problems.

Now Blizz, don't act like the ostrich with its head in the sand, because this is a real problem that has affected a lot of people. in short, GET WITH THE PROGRAM!!

I know I've escalated the DX11 issue with the Nvidia Optimus systems and there was another issue that came around the same time, mainly with Nvidia GTX 570, users. Their issue was one were the driver was crashing. That issue was also escalated.

I thought I saw non Optimus users having DX11 issues, but all of the DXDIAGS I've seen were from optimus users.

Wait? I have been crashing Error #132 and freezing up since the expansion hit and you are stating that Blizz is not aware of any issues? What about all of those error reports I keep sending when it crashes. For the record, I am running the latest driver (12.8) and have deleted WTF/Cache/Addon folders. Tried everything I can find on these forums and nothing has helped.

My specs :
Operating System: Windows 7 Professional 64-bit (6.1, Build 7601) Service Pack 1 (7601.win7sp1_gdr.120503-2030)
Processor: Intel(R) Core(TM) i7 CPU 950 @ 3.07GHz (8 CPUs), ~3.1GHz
Memory: 24576MB RAM
Available OS Memory: 24568MB RAM
Page File: 4665MB used, 56749MB available
DirectX Version: DirectX 11

I really hope someone is actually working on this.

Thanks for the DXDIAG. Can you tell me exactly what happens if you run DX11? Maybe even provide a screenshot if possible?

Read the following Blizz
Also the issues are with most 500 series (and other series also some AMD cards) nvidia cards and NOT just the 570 or optimus.
I even spoke to NVidia and they said its Blizzards fault and not their drivers.

All you jokers say is to switch from DX11 to DX9. Thats a bad axcuse. DX9 performance is terrible.

Heck this one thread has ended and a new one started thanks to the 26 page limit also it may be titled as a gtx 570 issue but if you actually read it you wil see everything up to a 590 like mine listed in there.

Are you guys blind?
This is an issue with DX11 and the Patch.
I even sent this ticket to tech support and they said post it on the forums cause you guys knew about this issue.
Also it took 3 or so tech support people before I got a competent one to help me. This is so frustrating.

Here is my Ticket as well (Ticket US31157032)

Thanks for getting back to me.

I cannot really log in to WoW right now, but in short when DX11 is active, out of nowhere the games shuts off and then I get some error about kernel something or other and that the graphics card has recovered from the error. Then my mouse pointer might have the actual cursor/hand icon that you would see in the game but I'm at the desktop and nothing responds, and I would have to hit ctrl-alt-delete and close WoW from the task manager.

This, and it ONLY happens with DX11 and WoW and since the patch for Pandaria. When my WoW crashes in DX11 however I task manager the app to force close it but I still have to restart my system as it has issues after the WoW crash

Every other APP and DX11 based game on my system runs fine.

This might be relevant if you are getting a "Display driver has stopped responding and recovered" error.

If this thread is a general "wow keeps crashing problem(black screen, blue screen, drivers not responding)" in which dx11 is a suspect then I am still wondering what is going on after a week and a half of troubleshooting. I am currently waiting for a response from a "Tech. Specialist." Hoping for a solution, whether its my fault or Blizz's. And one that can help others.

We are trying to gather data for systems that are crashing while on DX11, but not on DX9.

I've made another thread a sticky where this data is being gathered.

Here's link: http://us.battle.net/wow/en/forum/topic/6794870024?page=3#45
