We will currently consider running 25 man content providing enough interest. The Team make-up will be made based on commitment first, availability second, and class/role third.
Any class that has the ability to tank or heal as an offspec should start preparing for using that offspec. The ability to do so may be a deciding factor in a raid slot, regardless of skill, gear, or how much we like/love you/want to sex you up. A raid team will fall apart if there are too many deputies, and not enough sheriffs. We as a team cannot let this happen.
Chatter in Vent during a raid should be kept light, specifically after the pull, so the raid lead can call anything necessary without the risk of not being heard. During wipe regrouping, discussion of what went wrong is welcomed and encouraged but please try not to speak over each other.
Only the raid lead can call a wipe.
Damage and healing meters will not be listed in guild, raid, officer, or open channels during raids. If you are a dps spec, and can honestly look at recount numbers, ask yourself if you could improve somehow in the next encounter, then great. If you are a dps spec, and only wonder why you are not at the top of the list, please disable your meter. These encounters are not about being the top. They are about the encounter, none of which are a raid against a target dummy. Open channel printing of damage and healing numbers doesn’t benefit the raid team.
Loot will go to main spec and class specific characters first. If a conflict occurs, loot will go to required class beefing needed to help progression - i.e. healers need some upgrades before tanks, or vice versa. If the same role is in conflict, iLvl is considered first. Exceptions to this are players with extremely low gear, due to lack of dungeon runs, dailies, etc. If a clear decision cannot be made, roll for it.
I would hope that players can show some selflessness when it comes to gear, for the sake of their teammates who may need it more. The gear WILL come to you, some way or another. Very important: This is not about gear. It is about progressing as a team. If you are in this for your gear, this raid team may not be the place for you.
Currently, we are seeking a healers and DPS specs, and have a minor need for a couple of tanks that can dedicate three nights per week to raiding. The current schedule for our team is Tues - Thurs starting at 8:15 to 8:30 PM, and we are trying to add Sunday/Monday into the mix.
We're all grown-ups (mostly), and expect our members to treat guildmates - and anyone else - with the same respect they would expect themselves. Abuse of any kind, other than obvious kidding around, is not tolerated.
If you feel like you would be a good fit for us, please feel free to contact any member in game, and someone can get you recruited into the fold.
