DoTTimer would probably be a good one. It tracks DoTs & cooldowns and is relatively easy to set up (pretty much just moving the bars and scaling them to a size you feel appropriate).

I use cooldown count with quartz and MSBT (some of the more notable addons that are extremely useful). Cooldown count shows how long your ability has before it comes off CD with a number and a letter (6s, 20s, 5m, 1h, etc.) and it will flash between yellow and red as each number ticks down before it comes of CD. Quartz is a modified cast bar that's more accurate and displays more information than the standard blizzard cast bar and can be positioned anywhere on the screen. It also keeps track of your swing time, your GCD (with a small line that fills up) and the duration of any debuffs you have on the target. MSBT is a modified combat text that shows your damage, incoming damage, your healing, enemy healing, stances and auras gained, buffs gained, and also keeps track of loot acquired and the quantity of it in your bag after you have looted it.
These are a couple of addons I recommend and have used for quite some time.
