I know it really boils down to which weapons you have available, but say your in a perfect world and you have either to pick from, which has the best DPS currently?

And how different is itemization for SMF than TG?

If a fight has a large amount of aoe go TG
If a fight has a prolonged execute range or execute dps requirement go SMF

If you can make good usage of execute SMF should come out on top, it just slams so much harder.

I have not much experience as SMF, is the rotation still the same, and what about gemming/stat priority's ect?

I prefer SMF over TG it feels i get in more autos and just feels a whole heck of a lot more fluid aswell.
