So healing through Wrath dungeons I just wanna be DONE with so I can get into cata stuffs.... get the place with the transforming trolls whatever its called, which I had dode four times in a row the other night, healing entirely with RM and eminence so I figure, ok easy run. Right? Of course not or I wouldn't be in here talking about it :p
So monk tank, monk dps, dk dps, and boomkin dps. DK says how he was sad he was stuck as dps, I inwardly lol. Now I have had some really awesome monk tanks already who seem to take like no damage and so the fact that he has the same hp as me didn't phase me too much, then we do first pull of snakes. This guy is SQUISH-EY, hp dropping like a stone. I try and squeeze in enough eminence to get a free SM then switch gears for the boss. As everyone moves towards the door, I stop and type "Anyone hit the thingy?"
In the time it took me to type that the tank dropped like a stone. Que ranged healing on everyone, dk is mostly tanking, druid pops bres, I apologize after the pull, we move on. Thank you mana tea! I don't think I would have had time to drink properly. We get to the pull soon after with the living mojos and the statues and walking up the ramp.....I feel a tickle on my arm and look down to see a large spider crawling on it and immediately flip out...and flip my keyboard out of my lap and halfway across my room and jump about two feet sideways. I also squealed so loud and high my kitty came running to see if I was ok, followed by my two roomies.
I manage to type in a "fak brb sorry" then deal with the eight legged monstrosity. When I come back, I'm the only one dead, looking like druid popped some heals :) nice guy. I explained about the spider, and we progress onward. After the mammoth dude everyone goes to drop down to the bridge...which isn't rotated all the way. We of course missed the first switch, just like I had asked about at the beginning and letting the tank die :/ everyone gets kinda separated somehow running back to that (even though only one person had to go) and the dk los'd me and died to fishies while we fought the first rhino on the bridge.
I had completely forgotten of course that the rhinos silence since I had mostly been healing this place with eminence healing before! It was a bit hairy at small moments but we did the trash, downed boss, and I dropped immediately. I partly felt bad, even though I really had abnormal circumstances I normally don't let people die :/ tank really was squishy though. Anyone else having issues with monk tanks or are the good, barely-take-damage ones more prevalent?
