FPS Fix?

Window's Vista Home Premium
AMD Anthlon(tm) 64 X2 Dual Core Processor 4200+
3.00 GB RAM
NVIDIA GeForce 6150SE nForces 430

All of my settings in WoW are at the lowest choice.
I've tried changing the NIVIDIA Control Panel Settings, but nothing is changing. I'm pushing 12 FPS at the most, 4 FPS at the least. Suggestions?

more RAM. At LEAST you'll want 8GB.

That is probably your biggest problem, though the processor is pretty old and you could use a bit more RAM. That is a very old and very weak video chipset.

Unfortunately there is no quick and easy fix. Getting a new computer would be the best option since the processor is so outdated and would bottleneck a decent video card.

sorry to say /agree with sydeon.

chances are that's an AGP card too. as much as i love keeping old systems alive and using them forever, i don't recommend buying a new card for that system. better to buy new system. :(

<---still running MoP on a Sempron 3300+, 2gigs of ram, and a 6800 Vanilla
(RIP to my dead 6800gs)

I agree with Sydeon. The processor is pretty weak as well.

could be an addon problem if the problem is new. Power Auras drops my fps from 80ish to 25ish
