Topic RE: Zalond, scammer
Offered to sell the alani mount in trade for 120k, was pst'd by Zalond saying he'd like to purchase it. We agreed to kill the boss, and to trade the 120k before the mount was ML'd to him.
After killing Alani, he said he only had gold on his alt, so I ML'd the mount to him and he said that he would get the gold from an alt and pass it to me. (The ML'ing of the mount to him isnt shown as he was in a different phase at the time, but the loot disappeared from Alani)
That was 30 mins, 4 screenshots, 1 GM ticket, and a couple of messages to his GM ago.
So yeah, don't trust the little !@#$ter :)
Tough lesson to learn but a valuable one.
1. Always make them pay first.
2. Specify this in the trade agreement.
3. Get them to acknowledge that they read and accept the trade agreement.
4. Take gold.
5. Give them goodies.
