So do we. We are already one of (if not THE most) vulnerable classes to burst damage. As enhancement, if I am not allowed ample uptime on a target (this can be done with roots, stuns, disarms, etc) I cannot protect myself. Without having an opportunity to be offensive, I cannot be defensive. Totems were our one lifeline through all of that. I am already affected by every CC in the game (and drastically so). Furthering the impact of a means of CC is just completely devastating. I mean, previously the only plus side to Bulwark totem was that you could use it while silenced (which you could not use Astral Shift). Now? It is just as much of a joke (stompable, purgable AND silenceable. K.). Can a warrior not go into D-stance while silenced? Is Second Wind suppressed by Counterspell?
Nerfing 2/3 specs further into the ground because you feel that resto is MAYBE OP (again, I haven't seen it yet. Or are these tests being run based solely off of UF talent and/or Ascendance burst healing?) is rather disgraceful if it isn't at least offset by SOME sort of olive branch. Getting a 5stack of Maelstrom through a HoJ or Shockwave is pretty difficult after all.
You guys changed what heals we had available to us in order to be able to tune resto separately. Why now do we see a blanket nerf? Heck, isn't half of the skill behind PvP supposed to be using abilities to counter what other people have done? I know I used to just sit in a rogue's stuns for 10sec and make a sandwich, and if that is the playstyle you want us to return to then whatever. Next up, can we expect to see Blink to be unusable while stunned? Will Cloak no longer drop DoTs?
Sorry if this sounds overly bitter. Normally I can see the dev's point of view as to why they are changing something. This is just... laughable to me right now.
Maybe now we can get totem health pools that are higher than the critters we murder in Goldshire.
