Are you insinuating that Orazio uses steroids? He's taken entire banks' lunch money for less.

Brilliant, Blackmorn. Looking forward to seeing how that storyline. Can we like, hire some fat panda hoes and make Tytos do them in front of everyone?

No. We are not making furry !@#$.

I really don't see Darion letting Lorrain anywhere near the Queen, if for no other reason than to spare himself the embarrassment from whatever she might say. But... Lorrain is not above petitioning the Lord Chancellor for an audience without her brother's knowledge.

I have plenty of ideas for Tytos, but I'm not sure they'll work. I need a very good reason for him to leave Summer Hall and right now I can't think of one that makes any sense.

Someone very important to him gets gravely injured/killed/sick in a place that isn't Summer Hall? Child/parents/wife/uncle/aunt?

Another important lord somewhere summons him for a meeting because of his expertise/opinion/prolonged stay for a proposal?

I considered having the forsaken lay siege to Rosegarde, in which case he'd leave and try to break the siege, but... That can't happen for a while, because I had planned to make an event of it. I'd rather make that something fun for the entire guild than make it about one man.

It's a reference to the Borgias when Giovanni Sforza has his marriage annulled on the premise he's impotent.

My knowledge of Italian history is lacking and I've never watched the show, so...

Was it as good as the Tudors?

His daughter was kidnapped by the Defias for being a noble, them not caring whether Lordaeron or Stormwind, and he has to go to Deadmines for a while to rescue her. Because he won't pay.

I'll stop making bad suggestions to help you get him out of Summer Hall now.
Borgias season two is hella fun. Season one was... difficult to get through for me.

Lorrain

With sealed commission in hand, Lorrain smiled at the old wizard and handed him a pouch filled with gold. "I promised I'd make it worth your time and I'd hope that the extra coin would keep any word of this from reaching my brother's ear." She told him, waiting as he counted the coins.

"Of course, my lady. As I said before, there are limitations to portal magic and I cannot transport you to Queen's Landing directly..." He warned.

Lorrain waved a hand dismissively, her gaze settling upon the many tomes in the wizard's library as she spoke. "Lion's Landing will be fine. I doubt they would refuse me a fresh horse to reach the Queen's encampment."

Gavin Thalnos was a man of eight-and-sixty, his frame withered and bent with age, unable to support itself without the aid of a long, gnarled staff. His complexion was pale, a pair of silver-rimmed reading glasses resting at the bridge of his nose and obstructed by what remained of his long, snow-white hair. His bushy mustache moved as he spoke and Lorrain could not help but think he resembled a walrus.

"My lady... Are you aware of the danger that lies between Lion's Landing and the Queen's encampment? The shores are a battlefield and you'll be arriving in the night. Perhaps it would be best to wait and assemble an escort. I would not advise traveling without a detachment of your household guard." He warned, fearful of her brother's wrath if it was discovered that he'd aided her in such foolishness.

"If I were to bring the guard, my Lord-Husband would grow suspicious and I do not want him to know that I am gone until I've reached Queen's Landing. Kaala is all the protection I need. Isn't that right, girl?" She said with a smile, scratching the black worg behind the ears. Kaala simply growled, watching the old wizard as he paced before the bookshelf.

"Mmm..." He muttered, looking down his nose at the beast. "I would prefer the animal remain outside. This library is no place for beasts." He told her. "Come then. Let us begin."

Lorrain watched as he prepared the reagents, her curiosity and constant questions only serving to annoy the old wizard as he worked. What should have been a simple portal ended up taking more than an hour as he was forced to pause and answer questions.

It was near midnight when Lorrain stepped through the portal and onto the sandy shores of Lion's Landing, greeted immediately with suspicion by a pair of Alliance soldiers.

"Identify yourself." One of them ordered, his features obscured by his helm.

Lorrain was dressed in a full suit of ornate battle armor and with her visor down, she was easily mistaken for a man. As the guards drew closer, their torches illuminated the sigil on her breastplate--the twin black wolves of house Blackmorn. Lorrain lifted her visor and smiled innocently at both men. "Lady Lorrain of Summer Hall." She told them. "Her Majesty's Champion, Sir Jeremaes is expecting me at Queen's Landing. I would be most grateful if you fine gentlemen could show me to the stables and provide me with a fresh horse."

The men looked at each other for a moment and then back to Lorrain, who flashed them a seductive smile. "Of course, m'lady. I am Captain Andrew Morris. I believe we met in Stormwind at King Varian's Court some months ago. If you'll come this way..." The older of the two replied, removing his helm and revealing the chiseled features of a career soldier. His brown hair was touched with strands of silver and he was clean-shaven, reminding her of Sir Varic Soren. "Will you require an escort? I'm sure his Majesty would not want you traveling alone and Private Wilson and I would be happy to see to your safe passage." As he moved to take her hand, Kaala placed herself between them, growling protectively.

"Odd... I seem to have forgotten and it's not often I forget such a face." She replied, flashing him a smile. "That is most kind of you, though it will not be necessary, Captain. As you can see, I have my own escort." She replied, leaning in to scratch the beast behind the ears.

Captain Morris stepped back, glancing between Lorrain and her fearsome protector. "As you will, m'lady. I would advise traveling through the forest so as to avoid any horde patrols." He warned, ushering her toward the stable. He studied her armor and her posture, his features touched with concern when he found himself doubting the woman had ever seen combat.

She was given a fresh horse--one of their fastest according to the Captain, who insisted she take a satchel of rations and flares in the event she was ambushed. Once the horse was saddled, both men moved to assist her and though she was perfectly capable of mounting the beast without their aid, she allowed them to help her into the saddle and smiled appreciatively.

"Would that all his Majesty's soldiers were so chivalrous." She said softly. "You sir, would make a fine Knight." She continued to flatter the Captain, pausing only when she noted the concern in his eyes.

"M'lady... Are you certain you would not prefer an escort? The orcs are vile creatures and will not think twice about slaughtering anyone who crosses their path." He warned.

Lorrain simply smiled and dropped her visor, her left hand moving to the hilt of her sword, which also appeared fresh from a forge. "I am a Blackmorn of Wolf's Crossing, Captain. We have been slaughtering orcs since they came through the dark portal." She boasted. "I thank you for your concern, but I must be on my way. Light bless you." She spurred her horse into a gallop before either man could reply, offering a small wave as she passed the outer barricades.
