Been considering doing a FC and ST for one of my higher leveled toons after the holidays and I was just looking at how much it would cost. With Mounts, Pets, and Achievements now being server wide is this really still worth the $55 tag attached to it? (Also noticed unlike with some Guild services there's no discount for doing multiples of these) Not to mention the Cross realm zones seem to have made transferring servers more seamless. Really doing a transfer at this point only saves me reputation grinds and time leveling a new toon.
I guess my question is and maybe you guys cannot answer this question is are there any plans at reducing these costs in the near future or a revamp similar to what Scroll of Resurrection went through? Or are these going to be like this till -le fin?

I should clarify that Mounts/pets and many achievements are Battle.net account wide not "server" wide.
I'm not aware of any planned changes to the available character services. They have had the occasional sale for some of the character services but I'm afraid In-Game Support doesn't plan those nor do we have much prior notification of them.
One of our Community Managers commented on the character services some time ago. It probably gives the best insight into them.
These are premium services added to better accommodate the wants and needs of players. They do not factor into what you get for buying the game/expansions and paying monthly for access to the serers. By no means do you need any of these premium services to enjoy World of Warcraft gameplay to the fullest extent. Should you desire to take advantage of some extra services to enhance your enjoyment of the game though, they're certainly there for you... if you feel it's worth the price.
