I am curious why blizzard does not allow free server moves off of dead servers.

It is friday night and windrunner is a dead zone. Nothing much going on for raiding or anything else for that matter. Now I can understand servers die out due to the game losing people. But why as a customer should I have to pay $25 a toon to move to pay for the failing of the company to keep a client base?

I don't think WR would make the list even if they did allow transfers from 'dead' servers. I say we keep hope that we become a destination realm! =)

Windrunner isn't anywhere close to being a dead server, at least on alliance. Horde is another matter altogether, though.

That's like Horde complaining that there are too many of us.

No one on Horde side has killed Elegon or the first boss of Heart of Fear. It's even deader Horde side, which is why we have the Forsaken.

It is sad that more horde came to this thread to point out the lack of horde and to mock the allaince for thinking they were on a ghost town

Who cares about the horde though rly? WR should be named after an alliance npc >_>

lol at the for the horde run yesterday a valiant attempt but.........we suck =/

prior to that i was just praciticing a DPS rotation on a dummy in SW *shrugs*

Although even im thinking of transfering off windrunner and ive been here for like ever

well that was fun alliance, me vinex bloodtaco deathblades.......over the course of a couple hours nailed 90-100 HKs in SW,IF and the tram. Funny seeing so many people rez in the tram and s-key out xD

Horde side is in need of players, that much is true, but is server is far from dead. I recently checkd out one of my alts from the old server I came from...40 ppl in SW, 25 in Shrine, 30 in Vot4W, and that was primetime. In the afternoon, divide those numbers in half, in the morning, by 3. For reference, WR maxes out at 49 for all of those zones by the afternoon.

Why am I boring you all with these details? Just simply illustrating what a real dead server would look like.

Log into a High/Full populated server, go to one of the main cities, and watch General/Trade chat. You will then see that Windrunner is a fairly dead server.

I am new to WR, but i came from a worse server, Misha, i had horde toons their and alliance. Both pretty dead, horde having bout half as many alliance. I came here to play with a friend, and wish we just moved to a higher pop realm. I want to get into pvp, but hardly any serious pvp guilds :p.

I am the Priest formally known as Beamish. I am much happier on Area 52. I hated to move but WR was just dead. I wish you all the best

flipping if i wasnt in the same guild for the last 5 years and had friends here id of probably left server by now....id hate to leave this place but its so....dead now hordeside, atleast in wrath we had a sustainable population now.....even extenze left :(
