Other Games You Enjoy?

While we do all enjoy the game of Warcraft, there are sometimes when we just want to take a break and play something else. So community, when you feel like playing something else, what are some other games you enjoy playing and what kind of genres do you like?
The games I often find myself playing other than Warcraft are Chivalry: Medieval Warfare, Team Fortress 2, Battlefield 3, and Planetside 2. I also do occasionally wire up my old Nintendo 64 and play games like Legend of Zelda: Ocarina and Majora and Starfox 64. I also do plan on picking up a Wii U soon. In terms of my favorite genre, I would say my favorite are Role Playing Games. |

Once in awhile I decide to play Perfect World. I absolutely adore the music in that game. I also like to play The Sims 3 when I get bored of WoW

I like to play Guild Wars, Guild Wars 2, Star Wars (from time to time), and the Warhammer 40K games (table-top and video). My cute little Tyranids shall rule the world!

I am a fan of many games, recently it has been a Mass Effect binge (well that was a couple of months ago but still), but money issues came up that stopped that because I don't want to finish 3 until I get the DLC stuff and slot it into the story as I go along at points where it makes sense. I've done a real good job also of avoiding spoilers to the ending... Not sure how really.

I also play the Sims 3 on occasion. I have all current 8 expansion packs and am working on obtaining the "stuff" packs. I'll be honest: I play it just to build houses. I don't "live" the lives. I give myself $5M and see what I can build. Once I'm done I take screenshots and probably don't touch the game for another month lol. ================= Other games I've been known to play at various times:

I recently picked up KOTOR 2: The Sith Lords on Steam for basically what amounts to couch change.
It is glitchy, buggy, old as sin and I am loving every rose-tinted, nostalgic moment. The user-created content mod helps out a bit, I will give those guys massive credit. I'm also in the process of toying around with a bunch of Fallout: New Vegas mods, smoothing out the UI, fixing graphics and game bugs ... I had forgotten how much of a meta-game that stuff was. |

Between WoW, TF2, and Skyrim, I'm pretty much covered. I also have GW2 but I don't often play it.

Torchlight 2 and Borderlands 2 atm. I used to enjoy fighting games but Im way out of practice and my only console is a PS2. Of course old school RPG's like Wizardry, Dragon Warrior, the early Final Fantasys, etc. I havnt played a good RPG in a long time to be honest, Baldurs Gate was probably the last one.

I like to boot up Red Dead Redemption and just walk/ride around and enjoy the world.

Black Ops 2, Minecraft, going back and playing my favourite games from when I was a lil child, such as Spyro and Ratchet and Clank, The Walking Dead video game (sad that it ended, and hoping for a season 2 >_<), annnd... I guess those are all the games I am currently playing/replaying.

I'm the same way with Sims. I also have all of the expansions, and I usually take forever with building houses. Like 1 or 2 hours. Same thing with creating sims. Especially since I have a ton of Custom Content. |
