I'm really lazy when it comes to cardio. I break mine up in 10 minute increments throughout my workout. Do a couple weightlifting exercises and then hop on a cardio machine. I like it because it allows my muscles to recuperate but at the same time, I feel like I'm being productive. I use the recumbent bike, elliptical, stairmaster and row machine. Treadmill is too hard! Sometimes I'll skip cardio depending on if I want to cut weight or get stronger. If I'm going for strength, I'll do very little because it will ruin some muscle building. Unfortunately, I'll gain about 20 lbs by doing that.
