OUR RAID TIMES:
MV: 1/6H (stone guard), obviously 6/6 reg
We expect our raiders to perform their roles effectively. This includes tanks rotating cooldowns for large predictable income. Dps should be able to min/max their gear and know the top dps rotations, including glyphs/talents on a per fight basis as well as pre-potting. Healers are expected to keep the raid alive without running out of mana. Raiders need to show up by raid time with their gems, reforges, and enchants done and their own buff food, potions, and flasks. We do drop buff tables, but as you know, buff tables provide bigger buffs as per their cooking specialization tree (i.e. "Of the Wok" will give 275 agility to agility classes, but only 250 to the other classes), so plan accordingly.
People who stand in fire, inexplicably and continuously die to the same mechanics, don't pay attention to patch notes, etc need not apply. Applicants should have basic levels of gear for raid content. Right now, the absolute minimum listed is 470. Opportunities from Looking for Raid, heroics, reputation items, some crafted, Darkmoon Cards, etc should be used to get to this level of gear. All available perks from professions should be used for min/maxing. If you're a good raider, exceptions can be made - you need a good raid history to show us you aren't just an idiot looking to get carried, but several raiders are willing to do heroics/lfr with exceptional players if gear is needed.
In case this needs to be said, we NEED our raiders to show up for raid on time every time. If there is a reason you cannot make it to raid, the raid leader needs to know ASAP. If you continually show up late for raid or can't seem to make raid nights consistently, you will be replaced. This is not 'cause we're super hardcore REALM FIRST ONGZ, but rather because there are 9 other people waiting on you if you're late and gearing you up, which is a waste of time and energy if you aren't going to be there.
