So, I've come to notice that this is happening (again) on Wildhammer specifically...

The server crashes (partial if not all), followed by a "cannot retrieve character list" epic failure.

This seems to be happening every few hours. The server population is already low, what's the deal? Are you guys trying to drive more people to populated servers or just jerking everyone around? I shut down my game, relog, and check other servers. Everyone else seems to be up and running - Not Wildhammer.

Get your act together Bliz, - this keeps happening to this server specifically. Fix the code, do something. This isn't the first time for this type of thing, it happened like clockwork in July/August/September. Not sure if its bad programming, server issues, hard drive failing, etc....

THIS NEEDS TO BE LOOKED INTO!!!!!!

This sh*t is getting old. How long until blizz atleast acknowledges they have a problem with wildhammer crashing non-stop and having error-retrieving character list on loggin for 20 mins after the crash.

This is the FIFTH time me and a friend have been kicked off the srever and been unable to get back on in the past 2 days. Blizz this needs to be FIXED.

My first heroic ever. And it's all gone. ALL GONE. WHY? WHY BLIZZARD WHY?

There must be mice chewing on the server cables or something.

Third time this week, no other server I have alts on has this problem, this is getting old fast.

(Just happened to me) I have been getting this also. It happens often after a boss kill in a dungeon, but still happens during regular play as well. Although I cannot say I know it is the server going down, my WoW tends to hang on retrieving characters after attempting to log back in for about 5-10 minutes before allowing me to log back in. I am able to log in to other servers at the time. Might I add... a piece of loot dropped which I needed from Rattlegore in Heroic Scholomance but was unable to click need before getting the boot (on my warlock). (Necromantic Wand) =(

Do not post this issue in the wildhammer forum. I called the phone line for Blizzard support to tonight. The phone support guy said specifically that "blues" do not read server forums.

To address this issue, - post in the support forum with date, time, server, etc... Posting here will not even bring it to their attention. Submit bug reports and hit the support forum.
