enhancement, you'll enjoy it very much.
I don't know much about frost DK's, but I can assure you your choice is probably one between hitting cooldown attacks vs. rune roulette.
I think DK's might be better on AoE fights because Enhancement's requires some procs/ramp ups to fully function (CL/LL Spreads FS/Fire Nova/Magma Totem on 6+ targets), but Enhancement has some impressive single target damage and an absolutely devastating DPS cooldown.
Stacking Fire Elemental/Stormlash/Bloodlust/Ascendance/Trinkets/Racial (if able) during a Skull banner is ridiculous. Quite fun.

< not my first Shammy, so don't judge this character, but I've been playing a Shaman on and off since mid BC and I can tell you:
I absolutely HATED buff totems when they homogenized them in Wrath.
I hated them because you can't use two totems of the same element at the same time. Basically, you had to twist earthbinds and tremors with strength of earth (for example), and in today's WoW it would be as similar as a DK's horn of winter buff dropping off of everyone because he used Death Grip or Chains of Ice.
You should think of totems as unique temporary group/raid buffs. The whole point of totems is they mostly either affect a group of enemies (such as Earthbind or Capacitor) or a group of allies (such as Windwalk or Healing Stream). Shaman is a very support oriented class, and if offering some of that support is your thing, pick Shaman.
As far as I know, DK's are more focused around themselves, but they do have nifty group tools like Raise Ally or Path of Frost. DK's have more of a tanky toolkit. You should probably play based on the style of the class/spec.

I think enhance is a very very fun dps spec. Both DKs and enhance are very solid dps, it's probably just going to come down to gear between the two if the rotation is right. DKs are a pretty boring dps class though (in my opinion).
